While we offer a variety of traditional Spanish tapas, we also offer a wide variety of innovative dishes which incorporate Italian, Greek, Cuban, Asian, and American styles into made-from-scratch dishes you will never find anywhere else. In addition to Meat, Seafood, and Vegetarian options available for every visitor, our Chef is also able to deftly assist with any dietary needs or restrictions you may have.
Saffron has plenty of free parking located in the rear and we are happy to accept orders for take-out.
Nice restaurant for an evening out
Amazing service as usual and my friends enjoyed every entree. Usual date night spot but my friends wanted to try something different and I suggested we go here. They were pleasantly surprised.
Nice experience. Great food, great service!
Excellent service and great tapas.
Instead of spending 5 hours at JFK, went here with our children for lunch. Worked perfectly. Only 10 minutes car ride.
Excellent service. Place was nearly empty at lunchtime. Food was pricey. Risotto overdone. Stuffed shrimp lacked flavor
Food was amazing.
Food is good, and the price is reasonable. Music is a bit loud. After asking the staff to turn the music down a little bit, it was still a little too much. Location is very convient to JFK. Neighborhood is just ok. No water view. Parking is easy, back of the restaurant.
Great local spot. Food is delcious!
This was our second time at the restaurant and I must say they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service very good. Will be visiting again in the near future.
Food was excellent however the dessert options were minimal and of those half were not available. That was very disappointing. The waitress could have been more knowledgeable and more attentive with drinks.
A great restaurant within a quick and easy ride from JFK airport. Good selection of small plates-- we made a nice lunch our of the small plate selection.
Their ethnic dishes are very good.. Mixed chorizo and onions was great, as well as the charred pulpo, and ropa vieja tacos. Asparagus a La Plancha was great and stems were peeled on the larger diameter pieces--well done!
This will be my go to restaurant whenever near JFK.
The food was excellent. MY friends shared a fish dish and vegetable paella. I had the seafood paella which I enjoyed. We shared the taco appetizer and the chef made it gluten free for my friend..
Kudos to him!!😎
A great local place but also worth traveling for. Occasionally they change items on the menu (which is good) but if you ask them to make something from before, they will if they can.
The appetizers were good the mail course horrible. Overcooked rice and fish in the Paella. Waitress who was brand new was a doll.
Management Gould do better with the advertising and the quality of what you actually receive
Stack up on the tapas!! They're great. Food, and service were both amazing. Wasn't packed when we went, so the noise level wasn't an issue at all. Only slight drawback was that the bill ended up being slightly pricy. Definitely not a deal-breaker though. I'll be going back for sure 👍🏾
This restaurant never disappoints. Went with family for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Service was attentive.
I took my dad there for the first time (for him) for father day and he said that was one of the best dinner he had in a long time and the tapas where grate . I myself visit Saffron with my wife and try to have something different each time and are never disappointed. One of my favorite restaurant. By far.
The service was awesome! The food was delicious! Great brunch!
Excellent food, excellent service. Family owned restaurant. I look forward to celebrating many more event's at Saffron. Extremely friendly staff. Beautiful decor. They can accommodate from 1 to 100 people possibly more. Great for a casual dinner or a romantic date. Very pleasurable dining experience.
Thank you for
Love this restaurant for Tapas, this was the first time having brunch there. Menu was a little bit strange, very limited choice, but food was good as always and service was great.
We stopped by here because it was one of the closest restaurants to JFK on OpenTable when we needed a quick place to grab a bite between a domestic and international transfer with friends who were not continuing on the next leg and who didn't want the lame airport options available before security. We weren't disappointed by the proximity to the airport or the overall experience but the food isn't necessarily anything special (crab cakes were actually quite good, just nothing you can't get outside of manhattan) and there was a graduation party in progress which certainly added to the noiselevel (not properly separated and they had a DJ so became very difficult for anyone in the restaurant to have a conversation). Still, they warned about this before being seated so it was our fault for staying!
My son and I had brunch on Mother's Day. It was lovely. The choices were ample and the food was delicious. I have been there before with friends and would definitely return. It was very friendly from the moment we entered, escorted to our table, which was waiting for us, and the server was friendly as well.
The service and food were both impeccable. The waitstaff was very attentive and the chef sent over a delicious treat on the house for the table. I have now been back twice. I have found my new brunch place!
the place is great, very accomodating... the reservation didnt go through
Food, service and ambiance were good but the noise level was terrible and extremely distracting. People were just about screaming while speaking across their tables making it very uncomfortable for others trying to unwind enjoy conversation and our meal.
The people should be asked to turn it down a bit to respect others. I was there on a date and it was difficult to converse. I do not think I will be coming back.
The food is wonderful as is the service. I've been here for dinner as well as brunch with Groupons. Great value!
We went for brunch and enjoyed the unusual choices. The only negative was that coffee was served at 3/4 cup and no refills. Food was delicious.
Fantastic as always!
THE HOSTESSES SHOULD OF BEEN DRESSED BETTER SHE LOOKED LIKE SHE JUST CAME FROM A GRUNGE CONCERT. A PLAID LUMBERJACK SHIRT & JEANS AND SNEAKERS.
THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT BUT $39.00 FOR BRAISED SHORT RIBS IS A LITTLE HIGH.
THE WAITRESS AVIE WAS GREAT SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING ON THE MENU.
Had a Brunch Groupon for Saffron Restaurant. The value was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! My husband and I had a lovely afternoon brunch and I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
The food is very tasty and you are not rushed very plesent service with a smile
Food was delicious, great service. A little pricey but it was worth it.
Delicious food and friendly service. Can't go wrong.
Have been there many times. Drive from Long Island because food is so good.
A little surprised that they were not able to use the Open Table App reservation.
They said that only the owner was able to do this and he was not there. Had to contact open table to get points.
The food wasn't as good as my first visit, but was still good overall.
Meh. And overpriced. And not tapas at all. That's about it.
Saffron is one of our go to restaurants. The food and service is consistently great. Love the tapas because you can try a variety of dishes.
We wanted to try something new in a convenient location! Saffron was a great choice!
