   We don’t have high hopes for a “fabulous “ meal- it was ok at best. Neat concept, had to chase down waitress for drinks. Then saw a $3 “entertainment “ charge on our bill. If you have young kids cool things- but IMO much cooler things to do in Milwaukee.

   The food was so horrible - it was under seasoned and burnt. The spy theme was fun, but I expect actual food to go along with my entertainment. There's also a $3 entertainment fee charged

   It was a nice place but I do not think I’ll go back. The food was overpriced but it’s an experience and in my optional that balances the restaurant out. It needs some renovations it feels but a nice place I think everyone should try out

   Very good service even though it was busy the food was pretty good the burger was huge the prime rib sandwhich wasn’t the best but the CHEESE CURDS WERE AMAZING agent Venus was a wonderful server and she was very busy but on top of her game

    The SafeHouse is a very cool place for casual drinks and eats. The spy-themed decor and memorabilia is interesting, but the best part is that we had such a fun time. Especially with the double agent working the front door and our waiter, Agent Axe! The food and drinks were great and the entire meal was very reasonably priced, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining dining experience, and am already looking forward to my next visit.

    Our agent was outstanding, the environment is really interesting for us, spies. The food was very tasty but it is in the pricey side. The fact that you are charged a $3 entertainment fee (it is written in the menu) is not explained and I still cannot understand. Would I go back? Yes, but very sporadically.

    Food and service were both good, casual and relaxed atmosphere. I think you need to have some extra time if you want to complete the 'mission' that is left on your table. We had a time limit and did not participate. This would also be fun with kids you want to explore the different sections. As far as the password, I believe that you would need multiple visits to discover it...if there even is one. My guess is that everyone must complete the 'security screening' in order to enter...but don't sweat it, it is just a few simple tasks.

    We wanted to go somewhere unique to celebrate our kiddo’s 13th birthday. SafeHouse did not disappoint! Food was decent. The C4 cheese curds were definitely the tastiest part of our meal. The entrees were pretty basic but good. The birthday dessert was a super fun surprise and it was tasty too! We enjoyed exploring the restaurant and looking for clues for our scavenger hunt. Sarina at the magic bar was our favorite! Overall we would definitely recommend this spot. If you don’t know the password be prepared for some silliness to gain entry.

    Absolutely loved the place. The secret entrance, wished I have had the password but we still got in by passing the test. The restaurant was beyond expectations. Saw the restaurant in the only in Wisconsin email. Bucket list item completed.

    Fun place. They weren’t busy when we went so a little bit larger seating would have been nice - there were 6 of us crammed into a booth that was not really large enough to be comfortable. Food good, I had the ribs.

    Love the theme and atmosphere, but food quality is poor and over priced. Also, limited healthy and vegetarian options. The whole place needs a refresh including a deep clean and new menus (stained and ripped). My recommendation is to go for a drink and to eat elsewhere.

    Wanted to love this place, but due to some of the food quality and employee interactions, ended up really not enjoying it. Our party was rudely dismissed by two front employees - we also made a reservation a week ahead of time and were still seated at the least “thrill” table in the entire place, even when half the restaurant and decorated/themed areas were open and remained open the entire time we were there. Quality of food for the price ($18 for a burger), did not meet standards. Overall just a poor experience.

    First visit to the famous SafeHouse. We chose it as a last minute date option since it was near the venue for a concert we were going to, but ended up having a really nice date. If you’re not familiar, this place has a reputation for being an experience, and it did not disappoint. You can get lost in this place, and they encourage rubbernecking by giving you an (optional) scavenger hunt with cleverly rhymes. We opted out, but hope to visit again with more time and maybe some of our younger family to help solve the puzzles. Food- and service-wise, solid experience. Server was very charming and friendly, but definitely busy. Drinks were well-made, but a slight bit overpriced. Same for the food, but you are paying for the ambience. That being said, our max and cheese was tasty, but the Smersh Burger (a veggie burger with tzatziki) was the highlight of our meal. HIGHLY recommend. Good meal overall, but plan to spend some time here if you want the full experience!

    Even with a reservation it still took time to get a table. Once we were sat at our table nobody greeted us. Our server came up to us and asked if we had been taken care of and she was gracious enough to pick up our table. Took forever to get food and drink orders in. No silverware and even when I asked we only got one silverware roll up for three people. Then we had the birthday desert and plates weren’t even cleared out or beverages refilled. The building is starting to look run down so I’m not sure where the $3 entertainment fee is going. Overall not a great experience and definitely not worth the $100 tab for three people.

    This was our third visit to The SafeHouse. Our first experience was terrible, our second experience was outstanding, and our final experience was dishearteningly terrible once again. I absolutely love the nostalgia of this establishment - it is (or perhaps, was) a Milwaukee icon. However, it was our last dining experience that sealed the deal for us - we will no longer be patronizing the SafeHouse. It was our daughter's third birthday, I called ahead and put notes into OpenTable requesting seating that was unique/special to help celebrate her evening. So, the host seated us at a regular table next to the host stand. We put our drink order in - two kiddie cocktails and two beers. They took 30 minutes to arrive at the table. When they did, one of the kiddie cocktails (which they charged $7 for) was half full and both were missing cherries. When I asked if our kids could get a cherry each, the our waitress, Agent Solar said "I think we might be out". I then asked for a lime and salt for the Corona I ordered. She replied, "not sure if we have limes either and we might be out of salt shakers." She returned with a lime and had to go over to another table to borrow their salt shaker. We put our food order in. A Caesar salad, a junior spy burger, the Mr. Stamper club sandwich, and the License to Kill mac n' cheese. The food arrived shortly after. The hamburger was lukewarm at best, same for the fries. The fries tasted like they were old and stale. Finally, I asked for silverware to eat the Mac and Cheese I ordered and had to wait 10 minutes while the waitress searched for silverware. Before she came back with silverware, she actually stopped by our table to ask how everything was, to which I sarcastically replied if I had silverware to eat it, I could tell you." The icing on the cake was getting the bill - we were charged for an appetizer we didn't even order, plus a $3 entertainment fee. The only entertainment was the complete lack of good service.

    I booked the Safehouse because I thought it would be a fun, dining experience for my 10 year old. I was very disappointed! The Agent that greeted us was the only fun part of the “experience.” Once in the main restaurant, we were sat directly beside a party of 4. We might as well have been sitting with 4 total strangers. We sat at our table for a good 10 minutes before we were greeted & provided menus. The waitress did not ask us to come up with spy names, nor did she give my daughter a mission… It took another 10 minutes to get water and 20 to get drinks from the bar. The food was okay, but not worth the price… The experience is what makes the price easier to tolerate, but when there is NO experience! We will not be returning! Not will I recommend to any family or friends…

    This place was recommended to me by a friend. The restaurant concept is certainly unique, but that is the only plus side of my experience. The service was average. Had to track down the server for drink refills 3 times. Orders were not being made correctly and not all orders for a table were delivered together. My sandwich was good and made correctly, but nothing stood out. My guest's burger was dry and you can only get burgers one way - well done. What's this entertainment fee that is added to the check? There was no entertainment provided. A do-it-yourself scavenger hunt is not entertainment in my opinion.

    An interesting experience for sure. Food was hit or miss. Burgers were great. Mac and cheese was terrible. Friendly staff that stayed in character and good entertainment. Would be mixed on whether I'd return based on the food and price for it. Definitely would not let anyone in my party get the bland Mac and cheese if I did

    Very fun place. Very good staff. Parking was an issue. We had to park in a parking garage that cost $25. Food was ok, but the atmosphere made up for it. Would definitely go again.
