I've been to the Safehouse a few times, but not often to eat dinner. On this visit, the waitress was nice but not attentive and seemed annoyed that I ordered a second drink, which arrived with my bill, after I'd finished my meal. One person in my party received the wrong burger, but that was quickly addressed. It was odd that there was no music, just awkward chatter. It seemed really quiet. The best part was the magician around the corner. Worth going back just for that.

Always enjoyed coming here, but our last experience will likely keep us from returning. Glasses for water had brown liquid residue, beer was flat and tasted off, dirty lines perhaps? But the kicker was the sneaky way in which the bill was presented. When handed the check, the caveat was that they couldn't split the check for our table of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids), totally understandable...but the check was folded over and in way that avoided showing the 20% "large group fee".. which again, fine, not opposed, but this almost lead to another 20% tip... and in general just felt dishonest. It's clearly not disclosed when making a reservation, being seated, handed the check, or even at first pass without unfolding the full receipt... I'm sure many people miss this.

First timer. The experience was fun from the very first step into the restaurant. Everyone plays a part in the "spy-like" experience. There are definitely things you are supposed to say and others words you should try to avoid. The internal decor is fun-filled with several famous spies and agents of the past. The food is very good. The cocktails are good but pricy. The service was very good and everyone seemed to be enjoying their roles. There are probably better food and drink options around, but it is their theater dining experience that will bring me back again.

Its a Milwaukee classic. Its a cool place. Food was terrible. Wait staff was awesome!! Beer was flat leaving me to believe the lines are super dirty. The place is over all dirty. Scary to think what the kitchen is like.

Dropped into the SafeHouse for an early dinner and drinks prior to a show. The SafeHouse takes their mission very seriously. They nail the spy-genre atmosphere. It's slightly over-the-top for my tastes, but it's all fun and enjoyable. The menu is simple, and the dishes aren't especially unique, but they are well-executed, and service was prompt. We enjoyed the mac & cheese and the brisket bowl. Both were tasty, and no evidence of our orders was left in the bowls. The cocktails are named in accordance with the theme. If you've wanted to try a Vesper (from Casino Royale), but you don't keep Lilet Blanc in your home bar, you've come to the right place. Overall, it's on the pricey side for what you get, but it's good food/drink, friendly/prompt service, and a wholly unique atmosphere. Worth a go at least once.

We had lunch before a theater event across the street and the location is perfect to park once for both. First time diners here and we were given a booth table which turned out to be a fun "spin me around" at the end of the meal. Ask about this if you have a small <4 group. The meal was good, two of 3 of us enjoyed our salads and the last one did not care for the spices on the chicken and was offered a replacement. In the end we were all good and the service was excellent. The theme is carried through the entry to the end and it is a fun way to have a meal, especially with kids and friends. Lunch for three of us with 2 drinks was $90 with the tip. We'll come back just to have the chance to read all the theme items and wall decor.

While my friend had been here a number of times, it was a first for me and I had a wonderful time. The pulled pork sandwich was meaty and flavorful. The spy theme was everywhere with lots of clever references, and all the agents played their parts with enthusiasm. It was a bit noisier than expected, as I thought the atmosphere would be more hushed and secretive, but the loudness did provide great cover for any covert conversations that may have been going on :-) A really fun place with good food.

Even though we were a little rushed, because we needed to be at another place right after dinner, we had a wonderful time. Our server was great, and very helpful!! The staff was great. Ordered Pigslab BBQ Mac., missing the BBQ, and garlic bread crumbs, not much pork in it and by the time they brought a cup of BBQ and a dish of bread crumbs, the Mac was cold. Drinks were good but expensive for the size. Called for a 21st birthday celebration reservation, for my daughter and we were seated at a small table next to the bar and kitchen and people kept bumping into us and crowding around our table due to the scavenger hunt. Overall, relatively disappointed with the experience that we drove two hours to have but not due to the waitress we had, Agent Stone.

The atmosphere was very fun, the server made it fun, codename "goldilocks" great work making it a spy themed night. The food was definitely good, but portions did seem a touch small for the price. Really good food, and atmosphere.

I’ve been a few times and the food and service never disappoints, I recently brought in my 2 kids and they loved the place right down to our agent! She was patient with all of my sons questions and was quick on their refills. Best experience yet!

The food was absolutely horrible. The kids burger was a burnt hockey puck. Kids chicken fingers- literally had TWO. The brisket sandwich- please don’t even ask. It was brisket JERKY sandwich. So dry and disgusting and the meat looked like beef jerky. Wish I took a pic. The place is super cute but go only for drinks. We won’t return ever unfortunately.

Had not been here in about 5 years. Was somewhat disappointed. The experience has declined. My kids had never been and had heard me rave about it and were excited. They were underwhelmed. It's a shame. Cool concept and they didn't dislike it, but were disappointed.

A lot of things have changed about this place since the last time we went 2yrs ago. The magician wasn’t performing on a Saturday afternoon? That seems like it would be prime time to do so! You have to pay to get out the fun way now…idk. I was disappointed, I’ve talked this place up to my friends and now I’m a little embarrassed. Service was great and the food was good, just lacking in the spy experience department.
