Welcome to West Broadway Reform, Temple Of Hot Bagels.
Every visit to Sadelle’s is a positive experience! The service is always amazing and even during the busiest hours, the food comes out quickly and I never feel like I am being rushed out of the restaurant. Truly a 10/10 dining experience. Also, the tuna melt is to die for, so don’t overlook it!
It was toddler friendly and overall all a fun family brunch experience!
Nice please awesome food and the place you must be, the SOHO
The best. Simply the best.
Made reservations for 12:15 brunch for my dad's birthday. I had coordinated with the restaurant via email to make sure there would be a candle in the french toast we ordered. We arrived and had to wait 25 minutes. The host sat people who came after us and was very rude. We finally got seated and given menus close to 1 pm. Our waiter really turned our experience around and was delightful. We ordered salmon, egg salad, matzo ball soup, salmon eggs benedict and the french toast. Unfortunately, they forgot to put a candle when they brought out the french toast. Our waiter then brought us a chocolate babka with a candle to make up for it. Overall it was delicious! Our waiter was fantastic. It's definitely pricey but I would go back.
Eon is an amazing waiter and the food is delicious
My husband is coeliac and we have found it impossible to track down a GF bagel for him in the UK, Berlin,Paris or Florida. He ordered the GF bagel with breakfast potatoes (which he pronounced excellent) and eggs and was seriously impressed. I had the house salmon (heresy - but so much creamier then the Scottish smoked salmon I’m used to) with a bagel and accroutiments. Delish! We will definitely be back.
Food was amazing. I think it was the best French toast i’ve ever had. I liked the dining room, it felt very New York to me. Nice place to bring visitors. I will definitely go back
This was my second time at Sadelle’s and I left disappointed. The service was poor, inattentive, the coffee was cold and the waitress was annoyed I asked her to change it for hot coffee. The food is good but not amazing, you can have bagels and smoked salmon in many other places for less than$24 a plate and the same quality. Impersonal, overrated in my opinion.
THIS PLACE IS VERY NICE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION FOR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH, BUT YOU NEED TO RESERVE WEEKS IN ADVANCE
Went for brunch and ordered many things to share but the French toast was heaven on earth!! Never in all my years have I had French toast as delicious as this was - crusty and buttery on the outside and soft and creamy inside. I will forever dream about it!
The restaurant was very dark. The service very slow even though there were only 2 tables. The salmon tier looked old with loose screws.
Server was very mediocre, in fact quite rude. The eggs with salmon was quite good but overall the price and service made it a poor value
Great overall dining experience, pretty pricey for a bagel and lox but it was definitely a very good bagel and lox and worth it to splurge. Salads and other breakfast options also looked incredible
Food was amazing!
Fun place and the food is of good quality but not special enough to pay $25 for a salmon bagel (no matter what your restaurant budget is this is pretty ridiculous given the amount of good spots in NYC) especially when they are rushing you out the door by dropping the bill on your table as soon as you finish your last bite!
I knew the place was pricey, but at least expected "unlimited bagels" (that's what I read in some article). Oh well, it was pricey with very limited bagels. Food was good, but the service slow and hectic. They brought a wrong order to our table at first. Our drinks took a long time and did not come together (there were only 3 of us at the table).
A cultural note to the management: if you want to keep it in East European traditions, vodka shots should not be served without any food or snack. There is no point serving ice cold vodka (nice touch) if the food would only follow in 30 minutes. It warms up.
East European customers :)
This is one of my favorite brunch locations in the city.
GREAT!!! Terrific food, great service, beautiful inside.
I was meeting my daughter who was running late and I know they don't seat partial parties but they saw I needed my morning cup of coffee so they let me be seated!! Thanks staff at Sadelles
Food and service was excellent!
Our waiter had an attitude and took our food away when we weren’t finished.
Not worth $100 for 3pax. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area.
Food is good but not great. I give 4 stars because there is no way to put 3,5 and it s better than just 3. I think Russ and daughters is a bit better but in its style it could be amongst the three better places in NY for this type of food. However I do not think it worths the 2 hour line on weekends . Better to go on weekdays then
Best breakfast I ever had and fortunately I was not counting calories. The french toast was the best, but the omelette was a close second. Service was good although she forgot to offer us a second cup of coffee, but all was forgiven because the food was the show.
Laural is the best waitress. Everrrrrrrr
Went for dinner. Bagels tasted stale. Wasn’t a good experience at all
A $20 something bagel in NYC way too expensive!!!!
Loved the salads and bagels.
Loved the candles
Expensive but very good. Server was great but spread thin. Glad I went
Muy buena opcion para desayuno. Buenos platillos con buen servicio. Buena ubicación y precio razonable.
Mom in town. She’s Jewish. She likes towers of lox and French toast.
My daughter and I had the poached eggs with smoked salmon...vey tasty! Also shared the potatoes which were very good. Great bloody Mary's. Only complaints a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
We booked ahead before our trip to New York as Sadelles is extremely popoular for breakfast. This was our second visit and pleased to say it's still great. Freshly baked bagels which taste nothing like the kind you can buy in a supermarket. Smoked salmon, bagels, cream cheese all served in the manner of an afternoon tea.
Even if you don't like bagels, there's plenty of other choices so go anyway!
Of course you can buy a much cheaper bagel in New York, but for quality and atmosphere, I recommend Sadelles.
Sadelle's was a bucket-list restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Mickey, was amazing, kind, informed, patient! The lox and bagel tower was beautiful, delicious and fresh. The blueberry pancakes were loaded with fruit and the french toast was simply spectacular. The omelette was among the best I've ever had, and the entire place is charming, authentic, comfortable and simply wonderful. A must get to in Soho.
Delicious! Great wait staff. Might be the best bagel I have ever had - and I have had a lot of bagels in my life.
Best place in NYC
Amazing atmosphere and delicious, fresh, special food.
Good food but super expensive fried eggs and bagels for $50
