What Insiders Are Saying
Welcome to West Broadway Reform, Temple Of Hot Bagels.
We were first seated but in a cold draft area due to bagel oven in the middle of the restaurant. We asked to be moved a d they quickly accompanied. We then ordered but the kitchen was initially slow in providing food. Our super kind and engaging waiter apologized and brought out complimentary bubkha for us. Overall this is everything you could want in a New York City bagel joint but with its own unique flavours and ambience. The house salmon was dry in the best way possible and cut to perfection. Highly recommend if you are in soho and need a go to!!
Definitively not for dinner.
Our problem was with the reviews not the restaurant as such. It is not a dinner place; it’s a breakfast place. At 7:39 we were the only dinners and the menu, we discovered, was breakfast centric. Not suitable for an evening in NYC. We had an appetizer and left for a real dinner restaurant.
Fabulous fabulous and really delicious we loved everything , our Server was outstanding friendly and very patient. The hostesses were unbelievable and they were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome
Great , great , great... perfect for breakfast and brunch . Tuna , salmon , ( both regular and Benedict ), whitefish all excellent . Loved the bagels on the wooden stick and the towers with all the accompaniments..
A friend took us here and we loved it so much, that we went the next day again. Definitely worth it!
Everything was perfect except for my greeting. I had made a reservation. My guest was there and seated. I told the woman at the desk my name and she said I couldn’t be seated until both parties were there. I stood waiting even though my guest was already seated.
Very unhelpful person at the door who refused to give us a table for that we requested in a completely empty restaurant. Instead gave us a cramped table with A/C dripping onto it. Needs to go to charm school.
The food was good, but not worth wasting a dining experience in NYC. . The service was awful. I had to ask for water, and the server did not ask me if I was enjoying my meal, which is basic hospitality. The host was lovely, however.
Best baggles I've ever had
Rachel and her staff were amazing. They were the stars of the show and made our experience perfect! We look forward to returning very soon.
Outstanding breakfast options. Using opentable is a must because it gets crowded pretty regularly, but the food is why. Again, outstanding!
Beautiful spot and Very Large portions! Delicious! No cappuccino or expresso which disappointed me. But a great place overall!
Really good food and amazing service! I love everything about this little food joint. Super creative dishes and amazing taste! The only thing is it’s abit pricey but worth every penny!
Good job goood ogogkdkdjdjdkfci
Sadelle’s is a must every time I’m in New York!
I persuaded my girlfriend to go to Sadelle's with me for my birthday brunch after seeing great things from Ronnie Fieg's instagram (owner of Kith). I'm a big fan of Jewish Delis and his brand, so Sadelle's appeared a winning combination. Alas, the experience left much to be desired. I sat in a chair, and my girlfriend sat on the booth side. The chair was incredibly uncomfortable and offered no back support despite it having a back. I get that they're trying to go for a vintage aesthetic, but throughout my meal I kept shifting because I was so uncomfortable. We were shocked at the food prices, but remained hopeful. I ordered a coffee, but my mug was chipped around its lip. I had to ask the server for spoons to stir in the milk and sugar, it was not part of the place setting. The table is so small that the condiments are on a sill behind you, but even that's not apparent. Only after asking the server for sugar did she indicate that it was on a sill behind us (and it's not comfortable for the person on the booth side to reach for it). The tables are pretty, but incredibly small. The mugs + milk jug are from Le Creuset, but the milk jug was way too big for the table considering we needed to fit food on it (we had to move it to the sill). My girlfriend had to wait about 20 minutes for a half filled wine glass of orange juice. You would think a Jewish deli style restaurant would have creative drinks like a root-beer float, but there is not much effort in terms of creativity on the menu. 15-20 minutes ahead of getting our food, a server placed an aluminum serving tower that seemed like it was coming apart at the joints from so much use. We were wondering how we'd fit our plates amongst everything else that was on the table, but ultimately it worked. The food was finally delivered and we ate. It was delicious, but tremendously overpriced compared to similar spots/ quality. If you're looking for good lox and more of it at those price levels, Russ & Daughters is a sure bet.
Overpriced. Food ok. Don’t make a special trip. If you’re nearby, then maybe give it a try. Bagels are small and very limited menu. Watched bagel maker making bagels with one hand and using his cell phone with the other and.....no gloves. Smoked fish way overpriced.
Really delicious smoked scottish salmon, oysters and bagels. Very knowledgeable, polite, and accomodating service. Caviar was just ok, I'd skip it for the price, but the oysters were fresh and tasty.
We took friends who were visiting N.Y.C. to a late brunch at Sadelle's and it was lovely. The restaurant is beautiful and a very chic choice to show off to visitors. Our group of five split the Sadelle's Tower ($125) and there was more than enough food to go around. The restaurant was out of one type of fish, so we substituted a second order of the salmon salad—a crowdpleaser. I would also swap out the white fish salad in the future.
The food was good as usual - don’t know what was worse - the coffee or the service. Still would go back.
Sadelle’s is a must in New York. Bright open space and the best everything bagel in the city. Not touristy
Excellent as always
French toast was very impressive. Bagel and lox served on impressive stand, but not necessarily better than its competitors. Very attentive, pleasant waiter.
Bagels were fantastic. Whitefish dip and smoked salmon were both delicious. French Toast is great but very rich. 4 of us split it and we all agreed a 1/4 was all we could it. Sadly the sticky bun dough was messed up that day and they did not have any.
Sadelle’s was simply the best. My friends and I flew in all the way from the northern part of the world - Canada! - just to get a taste of all the hype. Not only do they have the best salmon and bagels, but their mimosas are to die for! Would eat here breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday if I could. I can honestly say if you haven’t been to Sadelle’s, you haven’t lived. Truly.
With so many places to eat in NYC they need to step up their service. No one was smiling or seemed happy that we were there. The food was expensive for what we got. Three 5 inch pancakes for $19.00. We have had many breakfasts in the city and this is not a place I need to return.
Had my son’s 10th birthday breakfast here. Food was amazing. Highly recommended the smoked Scottish salmon, as well as the sticky buns. We all regret not getting more buns & bagels for home!!!
Sadelle’s is quintessential NYC!! Everything bagels are made fresh. The ambience is great! Def try the French toast, you won’t be disappointed!
Everything was great until I got the bill for my one iced coffee and it was 8$!!
We loved the food and the food experience was terrific!
Beautiful place and it was amazing
Will go back for sure
Great bagels and a delicious platter
Simply delicious. Excellent service and the restaurant is beautiful.
Great scene. Fun and inviting food. Towers of lovely smoked salmon and accompaniments. Stacks on stacks of bagels. Amazing service!
Llegamos tarde , perdimos la reserva , aún así siendo domingo , nos logramos sentar , excelente el servicio y la comida espectacular !
Marvelous worth every minute
Excellent food and service!!!! The french toast gigantic and amazing as well as the great tuna they have and salmon. The place is very cute and loved being there. I wish we had something like this in Columbus, Ohio.
Nice birthday lunch!
I met my husband here for lunch , as we were both in New York on business. Sadelles exceeded our expectations in every way. Fabulous food, friendly staff chic ambiance.
