What Insiders Are Saying
Welcome to West Broadway Reform, Temple Of Hot Bagels.
Great breakfast!!! The Scottish salmon and the bagels we’re awesome but the sticky cinnamon rolls were out of this world!!!
Mum visiting New York
So much fun. Thank you for a lovely meal and a great morning.
All of the hype about the French Toast was true. It was incredible, as were the blueberry pancakes. Fun buzzing atmosphere in a great space. Can't wait to return when I'm back in New York to have the lox which I heard was also delicious.
Best breakfast in New York
Definitely not worth the money
Favorite breakfast in NYC!
Trendy restaurant with high prices but ultra dirty and disgusting restrooms
Fun atmosphere, delicious matzo ball soup, love watching the guys making bagels and the Le Crueset dinnerware is a nice touch
My wife and I had a rare day off together so we had breakfast at the ultimate expression of opulence and decadence. We love it here not everyday but every once an awhile 20.00 for a bagel and lox is acceptable. Cheers Sadelle’s we love you and the hype beast bagel vibes you emit.
Servant isn’t really friendly. Food was great
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere and ambiance.
The food, energy of the space and service here is always quite good, once you are actually seated. One of our favorite places for excellent fish. The hostess would be the reason for 4 stars. She was rather pretentious and obnoxious, apparently perceived power of table control, although we were there very early and the place was essentially empty, she still had to make a big show of making us wait to be seated. Ridiculous!
Very quaint place. If you go during brunch it is rather robust. My friend and I have been there a couple times and then gone to a movie (at Angelika) nearby. Salads are delicious. Lox platter is very nice too. They don't give you a bagel with your salad, so in that way, things can add up. I'd recommend it at an off hour, unless you don't mind crowded and loud. Don't like that you can't call the place.
Love the food and experience every time I go!
Sadelle's is one of the best breakfast spots in NYC. The Smoked Scottish salmon is amazing, as is the tuna salad and the french toast. Hands down the go to place to bring out of towners, parents or anyone visiting. Would HIGHLY recommend!
Food was tasty but small portions and we are not big eaters. We left a bit hungry after spending $$$
It was great!
Top location for brunch and breakfast - the New York style!
Great for Brunch or lunch! A perfect Mother’s Day choice! The smoked fish and bagels were perfect. The latke with smoked salmon and caviar war a decadent treat, the cream fraiche was a nice touch! The babke was OK and the coffee was not great. I would expect better coffee. The matzo ball soup had a lot of character and was delicious with lots of dill but I missed the parsnip. The matzo balls were light and tasty. The wait staff were very nice but harried they forgot the spoons for the soup and had to be reminded to bring them. So the soup was cold when we got to it. Plus all the food was brought out at once which was a bit ridiculous since the table was teeny. We couldn’t eat the lake and the soup and the bagels together. But the food was delicious . There was a hassle with the reservation too I thought I made it for 3 but the reservation was for 2 and they wouldn’t let me change it thus Mother’s Day san’s Dad😞
Very delicious smoked fish and bagel! Lovely restaurant and good light. The babka was not great, but fish was perfect!
I visited with a friend. We had a server named Max. Such a fantastic waiter! I checked on us frequently to make sure we were ok. The food was delicious and honestly, just a lovely ambience. Everyone who works there is lovely!!
Sadelles was the perfect breakfast to celebrate our final day in NYC after an amazing trip! It was absolutely incredible and I would HIGHLY recommend.
Sadelle’s does it better than any NYC deli - it is pricey but worth it!
Beautiful space- although you sit on top of and almost with people from the other tables—
Great service- waiter was charming and gracious
food was good however not worth the price-
Glad we went — but next time we want bagel lox cream cheese will go to Russ and daughters or Barney green grass
Coffee extra strong but food overall fantastic! Clever food presentation and delivery.
Great Bagel and Lox Breakfast with all the sides.Vibrant setting.
The only thing that bothered us was the small space between tables, and ours was next (next!) to the wine fridge.
Best bagels and smoked salmon! A bit on the pricier side for a weekday breakfast, but well worth it.
Poor service (staff took away food that I was still eating) and bathrooms had NO soap - I got very sick after dining. Never coming back.
Everything was OK, except the eggs for Eggs Benedict was really overcooked ! Service was good also nice decoration inside! Bagels are just been cooked in the center!
Amazing food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Portions are very small.
Too many tables in a reduced space.
Service is pretty bad for New York standards.
Food is good. Nothing amazing.
Bagels are very good, so are spreads, fish and French toast.
Menu could use some work.
We had the best salmon ever! Don’t miss it
The waiter was not polite. Food was great, but too expensive and not wipers it.
The host seated another couple right next to us where the whole restaurant is empty on Monday morning at 8.30 am. We are so close that I have to hear another person talk about inappropriate conversation.
I loved Sadelle's! Having seen the infamous tower all over instagram I wanted to try for myself! Tip: if you like lox and are sharing, I would order two plates of lox because for two bagels it was a bit skimpy. But overall great experience! If you want a good picture I would recommend asking for a table in the front and not all the way in the back.
