Atmosphere and Food was wonderful. Our server, Heather, was amazing and went above and beyond to make it a fun experience for our kids! Smores, cotton candy, steaks..bull riding..what more do you need!

We made a reservation for 20 for 7pm...and showed up 5 minutes till. Our tables were not set up and we stood around for 20 minutes waiting for a couple to leave that had been seated in the area the crew specified was ours. I asked one of the workers what the plan was because the couple was not leaving and they had no concrete plan I asked him to speak to his manager and finally our area was set up differntly. The manger didnt apologize for the wait or say a word. we then waited an additional 20 minutes to be asked for drinks and only after a member of my party went up and requested somebody to come over and take our orders. Our waitress was nice however having to wait over 40 minutes to simply order a drink is not OK...

They lack experience in the service area. There was no host to seat us when we arrived. The wait staff was nice but service again was slow and could not get our order correct. Food is decent.

The waitress Elizabeth was one of the worst servers we have had in awhile. We were celebrating two birthdays, she couldn’t even say happy birthday or even put a smile on her face. She did not know the drink selection well, and messed up the drink order. The food was the best part of it but it is a little overpriced, and was not able to get what we want to because it was on a limited menu.

I'm above and beyond disappointed in this restaurant. My husband and I had our first date night in almost a year and I have been wanting to eat here for a long time. We were seated in a far back corner and never waited on. We sat for 20 minutes without even a glance. We decided to leave and I let the hostess know how disappointed we were and her response was they had bigger parties to attend to that night. Will never go back.

We were very impressed with the service for such a busy night. The football game had ended, the afternoon concert had ended and everyone working was pleasant , from the hostess to the waitress we had. We had reservations and were seated on time even though there was a wait for tables. We were there for the evening concert. Glad we made reservations.

Ordered a "not so old fashioned" drink, first one was half full and mostly water. Second was good. Salmon was raw in the middle and roasted vegetables were overdone, dry and over seasoned. Noise level was so loud conversation of any kind was impossible and my ears were ringing by the time we left....oh and all the stalls but one it the ladies restroom were out of t.p. .

Our friends were reluctant to be seated outside, but were happy for the quietness of the outdoors after the restaurant really got busy. The server was attentive and helpful without being annoying. GOOD JOB! The food was well prepared, good portion size and FRESH!

This was a fun, festive place to eat. It wasn't quite what we expected.
We drove over from San Diego to attend a performance at the Gila River Arena. I booked it online after seeing that it was a "Chop House".

We kind of expected a upper end steak house but it turned out to be a loud, open room with rows of tables.

The service was excellent, the food was very good and it was fun to watch the drunk guys (and girls) try to ride the mechanical bull.

No complaints, this would be great for pre or post football, or any other event. It was fun, but wasn't the quiet dinner we were kind of expecting so the four people in our group could talk and catch up.

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is in a great location. The food was good. The service was not good. Our waitress disappeared several times which left us waiting for drinks, water and our check for entirely too long. The experience this time was disappointing. Not sure if we will go back.

I used to LOVE the Saddle Ranch Chop House, but I will never go back after this!

They didn't have a table reserved and shoved us off in a corner. My husband's chair repeatedly got hit by servers because bystanders near the bar had created a bottleneck and not ONE server spoke up to correct the issue and redistribute the one clueless group, my husband had to talk to them himself because he was tired of getting hit by servers. Apparently hitting a seated guest is easier than managing the bar.

We were there at 5 and didn't get menus or drinks for 15 min and I explained up front we were going to the hockey game at 6, which I figured would be a standard request for this location.

Our 1 appetizer for the table arrived at 5:40 and the server promised food would follow immediately... it came AT 6. We wolfed down our food and I begrudgingly paid $160 for the privilege, for a table of 5 with only 2 alcoholic beverages.

All french fries were almost more pepper than potato, yuck.

Got to our seats for the game almost 15 min late despite being like 100' from the entrance to the arena.

NEVER AGAIN. They lost me forever!

Went before the hockey game and were told that they have a limited menu on game nights. Wanted to get sliders but were told that we couldn't get them because of the limited menu, but they served them as part of a "monster plate app", so they had them but wouldn't serve them individually. Drinks were not great, but beer was cold. The food was mediocre at best. Service was fine. Dont know if I would go back, there are other options in this area before an event.

The hostess seated us without menus. After approximately five minutes, I went to the entrance requested menus and replacement of my wife's dirty utensils from her. She handed me menus, two sets of utensils without an apology. I had to go back to her again because the menu pages were missing from one of the menu folders, no apology. Service was terrible after about twelve minutes I went to the bar and ordered a rusty nail. The bartender informed me they did not have Drambuie, had to settle for a different drink. On the way back to the table, I asked a waiter when they were going to take our order. A few minutes later, a cordial and efficient waiter and trainee finally came to the table. The long wait would be justified if the restaurant was not half-empty. As for the food, the sweet potato fries were soft / mushy and tri tip sinewy / tough.

You would think if a restaurant/bar that advertises itself as a western bar that has a bull and all dressed in western wear, they would play country music...nope all pop music. No live music or dancing as advertised. It was a Friday night and barely anyone there in Westgate!!
Now the food, was overpriced so I ordered a half salad ($10) served with almost no dressing on it and the cheese, nuts, cranberries were really sparse. My husband ordered breakfast ($13) for two eggs, thin sliced ham and potatoes. All the dinner entrees were at or over $20.
All in all not a very pleasant outing and will not be going back again.

Management does not have a handle on this establishment.
We were seated at a table that was not assigned a server, so we had to wait until someone noticed that we were just sitting there. Finally a waitperson came over to assist us, but we were certainly an "also ran" table.

The burgers were room temp by the time they made it to our table. On top of that, they were pricey. Starting at $13 and then every little thing suggested by the server was extra, but she did not mention it.
Jalapeños. Extra.
Offered 3 style of fries. Other than the plain ones, Extra. No mention.

The only reason we picked this place is they accepted reservations via OpenTable.

Probably will wait for another restaurant next time vs guaranteed seating and then poor experience.

The food was good, they didn't have my first choice on a slow Sunday evening. Fairly limited menu. Felt over-priced for good, not great food, paying for theme & location. Service, however, was excellent!

Great ambiance for a sports bar/restaurant. Great place for lunch; not usually busy and the service is fast! Food is still a little spicy, but great place for a business lunch meeting. There is something on the menu for everyone. Try the chili - very different, but very good. Go for a birthday - the cotton candy is a special treat. Great deserts - especially the awesome bread pudding.

Went for my birthday. Asked if they had any birthday specials. Waitress said I could get one of four drinks and they put it in a huge martini glass. Never said anything about a price. Get the impression it was free. Then I get a bill for $16. Waitress said of you get a regular drink but more of it. So you're telling me a regular sized mai tai costs 16 bucks? Pretty sure they charged me for the upgrade.

The Ed Sheeran show made for a long wait at most restaurants but we had a reservation. The service on Saturday night was dreadful, it was busy but there were several empty tables as well.
We had a server who was training someone and took our order and then came back to tell us she was leaving and a different female server would be helping us.
Unfortunately, we did not see the new server for quite a while. We could see her zipping around the restaurant but we had to flag down the manager and ask where our order was.
When our food arrived we had ordered a second round of drinks but it took several minutes after our food arrived to get the drinks. The manager was very apologetic and we received a complimentary cotton candy that still wound up on our bill.
When we complained to him about the service and bill mixup he just said it was his poor planning. Why not offer to compensate us in some way? It's too bad because it is ideally located when going to gila river arena for a show but I will wait in line someplace else for better service.
