Horrible service and food
We were there Saturday night party of 6 around 830 and the wait time was an hour long. There was a lot of empty seats and tables everywhere. I went online and reserve a table and we were seated within 5 minutes. It was super loud inside and could not hear anything that's why we wanted to set outside but was told there was no tables even though it was all open. Next they were out of every single thing that we ordered. Out of ribs, spinach dip and chips, nachos, cornbread, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes. Once the food came out about 45 minutes later they got the order wrong for the steaks. They brought a salad out with no dressing because they were out of dressing and failed to inform us. That was the last straw. We will never eat at this establishment again
Server was great, food was good. Atmosphere was fun, only loud due to Westgate event outside.
Great food & drinks! Fun atmosphere!
The Sweet potato fries with marshmallow cream is amazing!
Not a very good experience. Went in for a quick bite, 2 burgers, 2 drinks. the first burger came out pretty fast, about 10 min after we ordered. We still didnt have silverware, after mentioning this to the server, he went away to go get some, after a few more minutes, I got up and got some from the check in staff. The second burger came out after another 15 -20 min, fries were hardly cooked, "pale" and soft. no refill on water, second beer never made it, regular coke got refilled with diet.
Overall pretty bad experience, we did alert management when we left, who told us they would get back to us, to this day, that still hasn't happened.
I chose this restaurant to take my parents to before the Blake Sheldon concert. The restaurant website noted that they had the best happy hour with drink specials under $3. Additionally they had a great selection of food choices. However, we found that on event days they don’t offer happy hour and they utilize a limited menu. This was not noted on their website. Additionally, our server was very nice, but seemed to have too many tables assigned and he struggled to keep up with service. This was our first visit and I don’t know that we would re-visit.
Very abbreviated menu with raised prices because of the concert. Will not be going there again.
It was disappointing to learn there was a limited menu due to the event going on. Posting that on the website would be helpful. We sat at our table for at least 10 minutes before a server even greeted us. Our server (Adrian I think was his name) was very accommodating and did his best to provide good service. There should be a way to shut off the fire when it is almost 80 degrees and your table is right next to it. The portions are huge but I think prices are high for what you are getting and mostly fried foods. It might be hard to really judge due to the limited menu but I really wouldn’t care to go back.
We tried the Saddle Ranch chop house for our Anniversary dinner. At 6pm it wasn't very crowded. We ordered a drink for happy hour. I had to ask about our drinks when the waiter came to take our order. We were treated to a free appetizer. They did not know it was our Anniversary. Food came and looked great. But nothing was hot. My steak was overcooked, my husband's food was not hot and his vegetables were quite greasy too. While not terrible, I doubt we'll go back as we weren't very impressed for the price.
Terrible service. We walked out because we were seated and no one came to even take our drink order. Wasn't very busy. It was hot and stuffy. Very pricey and the menu had a lot more liquor to chose from than food. Good if you drink. We don't.
Went on a Monday night and it was dead. Had to wait 5 minutes for someone to just great us at the hostess desk. Service was incredibly slow. Food was okay but we didn’t get the right dressing on our salad. I would not recommend this place to others.
Have been coming to this restaurant for the last 10 years. Always looked forward to dining there. This time, as soon as we walked in - we knew the place was different. The service was inadequate. The food was barely palatable. It was a huge disappointment. It will be a long time before we go back.
I have been many times. This was my choice for our monthly ladies luncheon. 5 had never been before. One entree cheeseburger sliders were dry & inedible. Steak sandwich ordered medium came out almost rare. So I switched my French dip for the steak sandwich. It was fantastic. Waitress saw our concerns. Cheeseburger slider did not tell waitress about the meat. Waitress brought out a complimentary desert to share. Impressed with her making it better. Will go back as have many other fun dinners.
Food quality was ok. The service could have been much better. The prices were a little high for what you got.
Our waitress was fantastic
I knew it was a game day so I made reservations on line through Open Table. However, when we arrived on time for lunch, there was only 1 waitress working. (On a game day!) We waited for over 20 minutes to be seated. We both ordered cheeseburgers and fries, which were just ok. $18 for a burger and fries? Especially when the burger patty is pre-made and previously frozen :/ eh. Not really impressed. The service was decent once other waiters started arriving. We’ve eaten at this location several times and it seems to be going downhill.
I’m sure we’ll eat there again. But, for now I’m not sold on the restaurant like I once was.
Although the restaurant was less than 1/4 full for Sunday brunch, it took over 2 hours for our party of 5 to complete the dining experience. We thought that would be enough time to get to a movie we'd booked, but we barely made it and had to leave some of our party behind to flag down someone so we could get the check. Some ordered items were never delivered, and the main courses were served an hour after the order was put in. Nothing special ordered, all items were menu standards but there was no particular sense of urgency to get our food out. Parts of the dishes were cold. Service was friendly but very inefficient. Good value, but this standard of service in the competitive environment of dining out is unacceptable.
Menu was not the menu on website. Besides of hockey game next store it was limited menu. This is unacceptable and they should advertise this fact.
I wouldn't recommend Saddle Ranch Chop House unless all you want are appetizers and drinks. My wife and I will not return. The entrees $$$+ expensive but the quantity is large. That does not make up for mediocre or sub-par food. I ordered the Rib Eye steak and it was without any doubt the toughest piece of meat I have ever been served in a restaurant. I ordered it medium cooked and it was well done. My wife ordered the salmon entrée and was pleased, I thought it was very mediocre. We had 4:00 pm reservations and the place was empty, we were the only diners present, a few others were at the bar. So the food quality was not the result of the cooks being busy. Our server was nice and helped us with the somewhat complicated menu of side dishes available with the entrees. We tipped her nicely but I hope she did not have to share it with the cook staff.
Everything was great this visit except the food took a very long time to come out. We arrived with plenty of time to enjoy our meal before the concert. Ultimately, we were late. Some of the orders were incorrect, but not that big of a deal. Service was very friendly. And even though our table wasn’t ready , made the effort to accommodate.
Reserved a table for 515 pm. Arrived early but they would not seat us until our reservation time. Went back at 510 and they didn’t seat us until 550. The restaurant was taking walk ups instead of seating us and we finally convinced them to seat us as our event started at 7.
Meal arrived in 50 min which was understandable as it was very busy. We finished and were waiting to get our bill so we could make the show but our sever had disappeared. Finally found him 15 min later - the place was empty but he had no interest in getting us out of there quickly.
We made reservations for a table for 4 prior to a hockey game. The reservations didn't seem to make any difference, some people who stood in line got in before we did. We got in about 20 minutes after our reservation time. Some of the food was pretty good, but some wasn't. A beef dip was 70% fat, other parts of the order didn't arrive. By the time it did come, it was cold. There wasn't time to replace the beef dip; to their credit, they didn't charge for it. The staff was friendly, they were very busy due to the hockey game rush.
We took 10 friends for happy hour at 4:00. The web page said happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-6. There were no happy hour prices and for example I paid $14.62 for one margarita which was not listed on the menu. The food was okay but not worth the prices charged. I have gone there other years before a game and have been satisfied with their menu and prices. I will not go back. I was sorry I brought friends there.
Menu not the same as menu online, warm beer glass, mediocre food, worst thing though, was that our food took WAY too long to be served (over an hour from when we ordered). We were a table of 4, ordered 2 burgers and 2 salads. Our server was apologetic but it just took too long and was cold and just not that good when it finally did come out.
We expected the restaurant would be busy because of events at the arena and stadium. We had a reservation and were seated shortly after arrival. Our server (Tracy) was excellent. The kitchen, however, was very backed up so the food took a LONG time to arrive. When the food did come it was lukewarm and mediocre.
The other thing that we were not aware of based on information on the website is that there is a “limited menu” for events. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was for certain items on the menu that were not available.
This was my first dining experience; somewhere to eat before the Coyotes hockey game. Despite how busy and crowded they were, our service was outstanding!!!
It toon and hour to get our food, it was cold and the steak was horrible for the price.
The restaurant was not busy at all when we arrived for our 6pm reservation. We were about 10 minutes early and it took a few minutes to get the hostess to understand we didn't want to sit at the bar but we had a reservation. Once we were seated it took another several minutes before our server arrived apologizing that it took so long. It took over 30 minutes to get our food while several other tables (that arrived after us) received their order. The server shows up with an appetizer (not ordered) and said it was on the house. The manager finally delivered our order but didn't apologize for the delay at all. When the server came to check on us I asked her if the long wait was normal for this restaurant. She explained that because one of us ordered a baked potato it took longer because the potatoes are not normally ready by 6pm. I gave her a look of disbelief. By now it was almost 7:30 and we were pretty frustrated. She shows up with a "free dessert" which we declined and asked for our check. When the check arrived she said they gave us a 15% discount for all of the issues. I explained that with all the problems it should have been that manager that intervened and came over to apologize. We paid the bill and promptly left. We will not return.
We were disappointed with our experience. They had a very limited menu compared to what they advertised on their website menu. We were so excited to dine here as we selected this venue specifically because of what they offered in the area, but left after having a drink. Our server pressured us to stay which was inappropriate but understandable since the place was dead.
Advice: Call ahead to see if they have their full menu being offered.
Satisfied Returning Customer. Prime Rib is always worth it.
We had a wonderful time the service was wonderful and the food was fantastic!
Food was not great, service was good though
We had a reservation for a large party at 4:15. When we arrived, the person who greeted us had no knowledge of our reservation, so had to arrange some tables. When we sat, no one greeted us and we had to ask for a server.
After that, everything was great . Christian was our server and he was amazing, very accommodating for our large group. Starting from behind, he did everything he could to make us happy, with a great sense of humor. On top of that, the good was really great. Very casual environment, great service (eventually), and great food.
Long wait for service. About 20 minutes. We were checking the menu of another restaurant when a waiter finally arrived. Other than this fumble, it was a a good meal with awesome drinks.
Went on a game day so menu was limited to accommodate the bigger crowds. Still good food and service was good.
We ate at the restaurant on NYE at 6:30 PM. The restaurant was not crowded. We were given a menu with very few options compared to the menu online. Our waiter was good but it took a long time to be greeted and asked if we wanted drinks. Our salads came out after the food and the food was cold. We told the server and they took the food back. It came back immediately and it was still cold. Our waiter bought us a shot which was nice but we left really disappointed.
Had reservations but waited in a long line in order to check in which made us run late. Waited about 30 minutes to get drinks and had not even ordered food yet. We asked for our check after the drinks were delivered and left without eating dinner because we were on a schedule.
The table was sticky and the glasses were not totally clean so we were hesitant as to what the food would be like. It felt more like a low end bar than a chophouse.
The waiter felt bad and tried to be accommodating which we appreciated but overall it was a poor experience. We will not return
1st of all there was a hockey game so limited menu which is not shown on website that i saw. Dinner was served and no utensils. Asked hostess and instead of finding us something it was basically not her problem. 3rd service was very poor and slow. Waited over 15 minutes for sweetener finally asked someone else . Would not and will not recommend and will not return.
While visiting the Westgate location on a Coyotes game night, we were greeted and seated right away because of a reservation. Our server was slow, unfriendly and seemed put out with simple requests such as asking for napkins, eating utensils, condiments and refills. We had to ask for everything and each request came one at a time. The appetizer was good and the burger would have been good if we would have been able to eat it hot, but because we had to wait for condiments, it was not enjoyable. This experience was unlike a previous one in a California location and would hope it was an isolated one. I don’t mind paying the okay prices for the food, but when it can’t be eaten fresh, it isn’t worth the price or the experience.
