Extremely loud. Food mediocre at best. Ha a Caesar salad that seemed to be 3 days old
I was so disappointed in this restaurant it took an hour to get our food and then half of it was cold. Steak was over cooked for one person, waitress forgot our wine and silverware she rarely checked on us. Women’s bathroom was dirty and garbage completely full I informed the staff and it was in the same condition 30 minutes later. I would not recommend this restaurant.
they are dishonest. they compromised my credit card !
Good food and a fantastic waitress created a enjoyable meal.
The food was pretty standard fare, it was good, but nothing that really stood out. The service was slow and when our food did arrive, it was put down and then the waitress disappeared and we had to wait and flag her down to get the missing parts of our meal before we could eat. The “dressing on the side” was absent. We were checked on several times, never by our own waitress...but by the asst manager and manager. When we were finished, the manager came by with a complimentary dessert...bread pudding. Which might have been nice if anyone at our table actually liked bread pudding. So wasted food.
The punch drinks are amazing!
Arrived on time for our 6pm reservation. Hostess seemed flustered to need to sit us. Scrambled and sat us at a bar high top table in a high traffic area. (I would hope with a reservation you get an actual table or booth-preferably). They were moderately busy with multiple empty tables around. It took a longer than usual time to be acknowledged. After placing our drink order, I ordered a specialty drink they advertise and serve in a carafe and my boyfriend just orders a soda. Server returns to inform us there were out of ingredients for my drink and soda machine wasn't working. On a Saturday night at 6pm?!?! I had to choose several different drinks before getting one they actually had the ingredients to make. We ordered an appetizer and salads along with our meals. About 30min passes before I actually get my drink (boyfriends tea was refilled twice before I got mine). About 45min since we had been seated our meals arrive BEFORE our appetizer or salads. Moments later, the app and salads arrive to the confusion of the food runner. We refused the items, only to be told they would be comped because of the mix up. But since the delivery of my drink we hadn't seen our server. Once she finally came to the table - it was with the check that still had charges for app and salads. When she returned with corrected check we asked to speak with manager. After waiting 15+min and no manager arrived, we gave up and left. This was our first and last time we will go there.
Atmosphere and Food was wonderful. Our server, Heather, was amazing and went above and beyond to make it a fun experience for our kids! Smores, cotton candy, steaks..bull riding..what more do you need!
We made a reservation for 20 for 7pm...and showed up 5 minutes till. Our tables were not set up and we stood around for 20 minutes waiting for a couple to leave that had been seated in the area the crew specified was ours. I asked one of the workers what the plan was because the couple was not leaving and they had no concrete plan I asked him to speak to his manager and finally our area was set up differntly. The manger didnt apologize for the wait or say a word. we then waited an additional 20 minutes to be asked for drinks and only after a member of my party went up and requested somebody to come over and take our orders. Our waitress was nice however having to wait over 40 minutes to simply order a drink is not OK...
Best ribeye ever !!!
They lack experience in the service area. There was no host to seat us when we arrived. The wait staff was nice but service again was slow and could not get our order correct. Food is decent.
Place was nice but service needs some help our waitress needs some customer service training ..only thing I would recommend that we we're missing
Great customer service!
Keep up the wonderful job!
The waitress Elizabeth was one of the worst servers we have had in awhile. We were celebrating two birthdays, she couldn’t even say happy birthday or even put a smile on her face. She did not know the drink selection well, and messed up the drink order. The food was the best part of it but it is a little overpriced, and was not able to get what we want to because it was on a limited menu.
I'm above and beyond disappointed in this restaurant. My husband and I had our first date night in almost a year and I have been wanting to eat here for a long time. We were seated in a far back corner and never waited on. We sat for 20 minutes without even a glance. We decided to leave and I let the hostess know how disappointed we were and her response was they had bigger parties to attend to that night. Will never go back.
We were very impressed with the service for such a busy night. The football game had ended, the afternoon concert had ended and everyone working was pleasant , from the hostess to the waitress we had. We had reservations and were seated on time even though there was a wait for tables. We were there for the evening concert. Glad we made reservations.
Ordered a "not so old fashioned" drink, first one was half full and mostly water. Second was good. Salmon was raw in the middle and roasted vegetables were overdone, dry and over seasoned. Noise level was so loud conversation of any kind was impossible and my ears were ringing by the time we left....oh and all the stalls but one it the ladies restroom were out of t.p. .
Our friends were reluctant to be seated outside, but were happy for the quietness of the outdoors after the restaurant really got busy. The server was attentive and helpful without being annoying. GOOD JOB! The food was well prepared, good portion size and FRESH!
This was a fun, festive place to eat. It wasn't quite what we expected.
We drove over from San Diego to attend a performance at the Gila River Arena. I booked it online after seeing that it was a "Chop House".
We kind of expected a upper end steak house but it turned out to be a loud, open room with rows of tables.
The service was excellent, the food was very good and it was fun to watch the drunk guys (and girls) try to ride the mechanical bull.
No complaints, this would be great for pre or post football, or any other event. It was fun, but wasn't the quiet dinner we were kind of expecting so the four people in our group could talk and catch up.
The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is in a great location. The food was good. The service was not good. Our waitress disappeared several times which left us waiting for drinks, water and our check for entirely too long. The experience this time was disappointing. Not sure if we will go back.
I used to LOVE the Saddle Ranch Chop House, but I will never go back after this!
They didn't have a table reserved and shoved us off in a corner. My husband's chair repeatedly got hit by servers because bystanders near the bar had created a bottleneck and not ONE server spoke up to correct the issue and redistribute the one clueless group, my husband had to talk to them himself because he was tired of getting hit by servers. Apparently hitting a seated guest is easier than managing the bar.
We were there at 5 and didn't get menus or drinks for 15 min and I explained up front we were going to the hockey game at 6, which I figured would be a standard request for this location.
Our 1 appetizer for the table arrived at 5:40 and the server promised food would follow immediately... it came AT 6. We wolfed down our food and I begrudgingly paid $160 for the privilege, for a table of 5 with only 2 alcoholic beverages.
All french fries were almost more pepper than potato, yuck.
Got to our seats for the game almost 15 min late despite being like 100' from the entrance to the arena.
NEVER AGAIN. They lost me forever!
Went before the hockey game and were told that they have a limited menu on game nights. Wanted to get sliders but were told that we couldn't get them because of the limited menu, but they served them as part of a "monster plate app", so they had them but wouldn't serve them individually. Drinks were not great, but beer was cold. The food was mediocre at best. Service was fine. Dont know if I would go back, there are other options in this area before an event.
Always a fun place to visit. Luckily was quiet when we were there. Is usually quite noisy.
The hostess seated us without menus. After approximately five minutes, I went to the entrance requested menus and replacement of my wife's dirty utensils from her. She handed me menus, two sets of utensils without an apology. I had to go back to her again because the menu pages were missing from one of the menu folders, no apology. Service was terrible after about twelve minutes I went to the bar and ordered a rusty nail. The bartender informed me they did not have Drambuie, had to settle for a different drink. On the way back to the table, I asked a waiter when they were going to take our order. A few minutes later, a cordial and efficient waiter and trainee finally came to the table. The long wait would be justified if the restaurant was not half-empty. As for the food, the sweet potato fries were soft / mushy and tri tip sinewy / tough.
You would think if a restaurant/bar that advertises itself as a western bar that has a bull and all dressed in western wear, they would play country music...nope all pop music. No live music or dancing as advertised. It was a Friday night and barely anyone there in Westgate!!
Now the food, was overpriced so I ordered a half salad ($10) served with almost no dressing on it and the cheese, nuts, cranberries were really sparse. My husband ordered breakfast ($13) for two eggs, thin sliced ham and potatoes. All the dinner entrees were at or over $20.
All in all not a very pleasant outing and will not be going back again.
SLOW AND NO Customer service, The Girls have no manners and take forever, the gentlemen at the end was awesome!
Management does not have a handle on this establishment.
We were seated at a table that was not assigned a server, so we had to wait until someone noticed that we were just sitting there. Finally a waitperson came over to assist us, but we were certainly an "also ran" table.
The burgers were room temp by the time they made it to our table. On top of that, they were pricey. Starting at $13 and then every little thing suggested by the server was extra, but she did not mention it.
Offered 3 style of fries. Other than the plain ones, Extra. No mention.
The only reason we picked this place is they accepted reservations via OpenTable.
Probably will wait for another restaurant next time vs guaranteed seating and then poor experience.
The food was good, they didn't have my first choice on a slow Sunday evening. Fairly limited menu. Felt over-priced for good, not great food, paying for theme & location. Service, however, was excellent!
Great ambiance for a sports bar/restaurant. Great place for lunch; not usually busy and the service is fast! Food is still a little spicy, but great place for a business lunch meeting. There is something on the menu for everyone. Try the chili - very different, but very good. Go for a birthday - the cotton candy is a special treat. Great deserts - especially the awesome bread pudding.
Terrible food! We had steak sandwiches that were the worst I ever had. One person ordered a salad and it was warm and wilted.
Went for my birthday. Asked if they had any birthday specials. Waitress said I could get one of four drinks and they put it in a huge martini glass. Never said anything about a price. Get the impression it was free. Then I get a bill for $16. Waitress said of you get a regular drink but more of it. So you're telling me a regular sized mai tai costs 16 bucks? Pretty sure they charged me for the upgrade.
This was my first visit and just had a great time.
Happy hour hands down great prices!!
I definitely will be back
Restaurant was great as always I didn't realize the time I went was during a football game and they had a limited menu witch only offered mixed vegetables witch where serverly over cooked and mixed with broccoli witch was ok for my wife, mother and myself but my father is on warfin and can not eat greens so he didn't get very much vegetables
They over looked my reservation. Service was kind of rough and the food a lot of the party did not like it
The Ed Sheeran show made for a long wait at most restaurants but we had a reservation. The service on Saturday night was dreadful, it was busy but there were several empty tables as well.
We had a server who was training someone and took our order and then came back to tell us she was leaving and a different female server would be helping us.
Unfortunately, we did not see the new server for quite a while. We could see her zipping around the restaurant but we had to flag down the manager and ask where our order was.
When our food arrived we had ordered a second round of drinks but it took several minutes after our food arrived to get the drinks. The manager was very apologetic and we received a complimentary cotton candy that still wound up on our bill.
When we complained to him about the service and bill mixup he just said it was his poor planning. Why not offer to compensate us in some way? It's too bad because it is ideally located when going to gila river arena for a show but I will wait in line someplace else for better service.
Granted, we were visiting on the night of a concert (not attending, but our children were) but we were not informed that there would be a limited menu - a very limited menu. We also made our reservation for 7:30 which was after the concert started, so it was not busy. They were out of the wine we ordered, the chicken was luke warm and seemed like a pre-packaged/pre-cooked item you would thaw from Costo, and we ordered a salad with the tomatoes and bacon on the side which they did, but they still put them in the salad too. The restaurant was extremely warm - thankfully when the manager came over she was able to turn it down. She stated that she was allowed to do that once a customer complained. Poor servers!! Anyhoo - I would skip this restaurant . . .
walked in and checked in with the hostess and they seemed quite confused about the reservation. That did get fix quickly and we were seated. after about a 5 min wait the waitress arrived to take our order and after taking the order stated she needed a credit card before she could put the order in. (they think there customers will stiff them i guess) I was under the impression that they were making you pay before hand well i was wrong. After the waitress did not return my credit card to me with in 10 mins i asked her for it. Not knowing why she had my card for so long i look online to see what was going on. They were opening tabs with out telling you what they are doing. Now when they do that they are open charge that can be for any amount. That is some serious risk for fraud as you have no control over charges and everyone of there employees who has access to there registers can add stuff with out your knowledge. I talked to a manager that knew nothing then the regenial manager came to the table and tried to explain why they do this, made no sense to me as the risk of fraud is just so high in that situation. Also no other restaurant does that.
The food was ok but nothing to write home about. I will not dine there again. They way they do tabs is way way to risky and not worth it. They also canceled my reservation so i could not write a review. Well that did not stop me. Do not go near this place some one will end up getting unatherize charges on there card im sure it has already happened.
Usually it's delicious but on Aug 5, 2017 the food tasted old and stale. We made a reservation on open table and they still seated us right beside the front door (the restaurant was empty) and it was 110 outside. Terrible. Even the bread basket wasn't fresh. I ordered a house punch cocktail, it tasted like straight liquor. We just ate and left. It'll be awhile before I go back. Which is sad. I use to love this place.
