Together with her team of passionate experts, she opened Sacred Pepper to provide the community with new twists on classic favorites in an inviting atmosphere. Locally sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch pastas and sauces highlight a Contemporary American menu with dashes of Mediterranean flair. Good.was crowded so service a little slow.
It was great !
Always great and we made and met new friends.great great great
Food and service are laudable. Decor is appealing. Why the obnoxiously loud music above your head? A fine dinner is about the food and conversation! Why distract with music of the restaurant’s choice?
It was just Perfect the atmosphere the food the attendance in the soft music ...
If I have a recommendation for a Manager Chad or the owner on Friday and Saturday When Customer are there to enjoy The food and the atmosphere it would be nice If the music that was playing Wish I enjoy immensely Would be a tad lower so I would be able to enjoy having a civil conversation across my table without screaming It is fun to hear the music after one has finish eating and just having drinks but while eating it would be nice to be able to hear the music like we did on Easter and enjoyed our conversation and the wonderful food just a thought
Hello, I'm kind of glad I got this opportunity to review the restaurant because it was overall a poor experience especially compared to our last visit. I decided to bring my family for a nice Easter lunch because we did the same last year and had a wonderful experience, the food last Easter was prepared beautifully, it was delicious and our service was on point. This time around our server was nowhere to be found for most of the meal, at the time it wasn't very busy and our food took a lot longer to prepare than we had anticipated compared to our previous visit. When our meals did arrive the steak bites were overcooked to the point of being chewy and tough, the Hawaiian Delmonico that I received was supposed to be medium rare and was in fact incredibly rare and the other two dishes were less than satisfactory as well. I'm not one to complain in the moment but the person who ordered the steak bites ended up returning them and not even eating, I begrudgingly ate my steak and at this point we decided this would probably not become the Easter tradition we were expecting it to become. I am typing this in hopes that maybe it can prevent someone else from having a similar experience as our first time there last year was honestly great and I wish it would've been the same this time around. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope this reaches somebody who cares.
Had the grouper piccata. Couldn't stop eating it and then it was all gone. :(
Had the raw oysters, very fresh, the Oysters Rockefeller, excellent and the fried Brie, outstanding, just need more crostini's.
All in all a great visit for Easter.
Easter lunch at sacred pepper. Started with the oysters. Very fresh and large. A good choice. Then the Asian bowl. Interesting presentation. Each ingredient served separately in the bowl. Good portion and very tasty. Will return. Only negative was the noise. Very noisy in the room we were seated.
Tables too close! Service good! Met Mr. Joe Pettrella! Very cordial! Sean & Patty Flanagan
Top-notch service. Food was very good and plentiful servings. The Sacred Pepper gets better with every visit.
We have never had a bad meal or appetizer at this amazing restaurant. You will not go wrong with anything you order. Our server Andrew was also great. He is very knowledgeable about the menu and makes great suggestions. We love to dine at the Sacred Pepper.
This is a very nice restaurant with good food with an Italian influence. However, the music (jazz kind) is way too loud for an intimate setting. I am not a jazz fan and do not find that kind of music mixing well with a nice dinner with friends. Perhaps some more classical music would be in order, or just piano music at a level that blends in.
Always a fantastic time at Sacred Pepper!!
Fun people, great atmosphere, amazing bar music, and delicious food.
Happy Birthday SP!!
Food was very good. Service was poor. Very noisy. Anniversary party was not staffed for. The table we were first sat at had a severe draft.
It was a fun evening celebrating the 3rd anniversary.
Friendly , efficient staff. Andrew was excellent. Food great and wonderful atmosphere.
This is the most marvelous restaurant. The food (esp specials) is always fresh and delicious - the menu items are freshly made each day. Drinks and wine specials are great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and speedy. This is our go-to place for visiting friends, family dinners, or just casual weeknight meals when we don't want to cook.
Food and service are excellent, Jessica was our waitress and she was terrific, she knew the menu and was able to answer all of our questions, we will visit again!
Everything was so good. Love this restaurant! Great food, great service, great ambiance.
Awesome Experience looking forward to our next visit.
Kinda fancy. Kinda casual. A great restaurant with a variety of food choices with personality.
Wonderful experience here! Amazing food and impressive service! I will definitely be making my way back to this restaurant! Thank you Sacred Pepper for an amazing Anniversary night!
We have dined here before and it was excellent. However this time around was not nearly as great. Issues below:
1. Asked for a booth well in advance and was not accommodated.
2. It was my husbands Birthday, which I specified on my reservation when booking and we didn’t even get a Happy Birthday or anything to acknowledge it.
3. It was hot in the restaurant making it VERY uncomfortable and ended our stay earlier than we planned.
We spent close to $400 dollars for a night that was supposed to be a great time and it definitely was not as great as we imagined.
Unfortunately, we will not be dining again any time soon.
Menu remains interesting; preparation excellent; quantities generous; service mostly professional, some attention lapses on a busy Saturday evening; noise level higher than desirable (live music), but our table was far enough away that we were able to converse without yelling most of the time.
This visit was our first to this restaurant. We had a large party (9) and the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us on a Saturday evening. Much appreciated. Our server, Danielle, was informative, friendly, and helpful. The service was outstanding for a busy evening and the quality and taste of the entrees was enjoyed by all.
The food was fresh and delicious with fabulous service from Reese. Loved the music!
Was celebrating my birthday on my first visit. Had a wonderful time. Food excellent and server was great!
We had a terrific experience! The food was outstanding! I had the salmon and my husband had the delmonico steak. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The music was upbeat and lively. We will be back!
From the moment you walk in the service is great. Everyone is in good spirits and our waitress Rachel was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and her suggestions where very good. The operations manager Joe was a great host and checked in on us from time to time. Great experience and atmosphere. Will definitely be going back with friends and family!!
This is not our first visit to Sacred Pepper and certainly not our last one!!!
Bravo for a job well done...no complaints!!!
The food and service were excellent!!! The entertainment off the charts...Damn, that guy is good!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
A horrible live performer had his volume cranked way too loud so a conversation in a separate dining area was almost impossible. We won’t go there again if there’s live music.
Just fun with friends
Service was very good - noise level can b an issue depending on where u r seated. One of my friends in party very disappointed with her pasta bougillnesse- extremely salty. The rest of our order very good - grouper , calamari ,bowl, appetizer with cheese аnd mango and very thin crust.
It is usually much better. Fish was cold and dry. Overpriced specials but other than that only ok. We had reservations and the hostess tries to stick us in the bar area at a table for appetizers. We refused so was finally seated in their empty dining room. It did not fill up all night so don’t understand their procedure. Waitress as very attentive in the beginning and then would disappear for quite some time. Had to ask several different wait staff to refill water glasses. Didn’t seem like any management was on the job on a Monda Night. We spent $225 for four people so it should have been worth there while to provide better service. We will give them another try.
I love the calamari, the butternut squash soup, the short rib pasta is very delicious and the Strawberry Martini is very refreshing! Our server was very friendly. I can't remember her name but she has blonde hair! Sacred Pepper has become my favorite dinner spot
amazing spot, service always wonderful,l food is fantastic....High Quality restaurant ...wish I still lived in Tampa so that I could frequent it more often! I always make sure to dine there when I am in Tampa!
Always good food and service. They have it figured out.
We celebrated our anniversary and was surprised with a delicious dessert! The service, food, and atmosphere were fantastic!
Great place to meet friends. Live music is amazing, drinks are fabulous!
