The Green curry shrimp and th oink oink rice were both lukewarm
The crispy tamarind snapper was the only good dish.
Lettuce wrap was tasteless
Grilled salmon was a huge portion.
We sat there for hours...very pleasant and they didn't bother us to leave. Desserts were limited.
A little slkw
Service by hostess was excellent. Food was average and high priced. Wait service was impersonal and pushy. Would not recommend.
Excellent food and excellent service. The staff was very pleasant, and the menu options for very unique.
Been here before, the food is good . This time after 15 mins I had to ask for a glass of water while I waited for my friend. The waiter was annoyed when we would ask for something else to the point of him saying " anything else" but not in a nice way. He was more eager to ask me if I wanted another drink then asking how the meal was so far.
Very nice atmosphefe, great food and very friendly, Ive already been there three time and it's been great experience.
Sachi is a casual but cute date spot. I was disappointed that the last time I was there, they ran out of tuna. I since have not gone back. It unfortunately turned me off from the restaurant.
A wonderful find on 38th and 2nd Ave. So pleasant, the menu is so comprehensive no matter what your taste is there is something for you. Also, reasonably priced.
The service is perfect - very attentive, always there when you need them.
If I owned and ran a restaurant, this is how I would do it.
This was not our first time here and always go back.
The food and service is excellent.
Good food and an interesting Asian mix. Service ok and atmosphere good - though we arrived late. Might be more fun earlier in the evening. Would definitely go back.
I booked Sachi for a group of 10 people for a dinner with work colleagues. Booking was easy, the space was accommodating for a group this size, and the service was very good. The food and drink menu had a lot of variety to accommodate different preferences and diets. I would visit again for future larger group events.
Food was good, service and ambiance was good. I would recommend it.
Very good lunch menu, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is tasty (though some of it was too spicy for me)
Food was adventurous and fun as well as cocktails. Just what we were looking for.
Great food experience. We were absolutely satisfied. The desert could be worked on but the rest was fabulous. Staff was very friendly.
The friendliest, funny waiter I've encountered in years. All was fine except request for a certain seating are was not honored and we (2) sat a table for 10. Fortunately no one joined us as I was catching up with a friend from Toronto whom I hadn't seen in a few years. There are too many tables for large groups and too few for small groups.
Great booths. Our group of 7 could talk to each other very easily
The restaurant has a pleasing decor, warm ambiance, and very good service. The food variety and quality is excellent, not to much very savoury. If you like spicy, you can get that too.
I like it, you may too.
Close enough to work and not pricey at all. Good combination of Asian fusion menu and Japanese selection. Always crowded, big groups need a reservation.
surprisingly good dinner. Menu was pan Asian and suitable for the vast difference of tastes of our 7 person group. Good cocktails too.
I'm very picky about Asian food (lived in China and now scoff at bad American versions of Chinese food), and I can say that this food was excellent -- a nice mix of "fusion" type food, but authentic enough to not feel contrived. Authentic dim sum (soup dumplings as good as I've had in Shanghai!), Laksa, and curries all delicious. Sushi rolls are very Americanized with lots of cooked and fried components, but all very creative and delicious. Have been twice in the last week and will go again.
The sushimi had a bizarre fishy taste that stayed in your mouth. My fiancé & I bearing ate anything. I told the waitress about the weird taste and she just took the plates away and charged us for every bit of food. Will not be going back there!
Lovely neighborhood gem
Looking for a new place for Sushi in the Midtown East neighborhood and saw great reviews for Sachi! We are in agreement. Fish was fresh, salad great and the booth made a conversation easier to talk and hear. Will come back and order more!
highly recommend. really great sushi and reasonably priced. service is nice and efficient. it was a real gem. atmosphere is nothing special, but they have great big booths for a group of 6-7 that are cool. i booked it because of the location -needed to meet a friend staying nearby - but i would totally go back just for the food.
We usually go here because of their quick service. However, during our last visit, it took them about 55 minutes to serve our food! All the other diners got their food first even if they arrived later than us.
Besides that, however, food is good and price is reasonable.
Easily our new neighborhood favorite. The food and service were impeccable, and the prices are quite reasonable. We can't wait to go back!
I had a wonderful dining experience.. the food was very good.. and flavorful.. I could have ordered everything on the menu... we had wonderful friendly service... and I would definitely return.. thank you
We sat at the bar and ordered the ceviche and two rolls. Everything tasted very fresh and clean. The bar service was good, as well. The bartender was attentive and helpful in drink and food choices.
Great food at reasonable prices. Quick and pleasant service.
This is the perfect lunch spot. The food is very good pan-Asian. Nothing adventurous, but good dimsum, sushi, curries, and noodles . Very quick service and good prices .
Very good sushi mixed Chinese restaurant in the grand central station area
We ordered delicious duck tacos, dumplings and a lobster sushi roll as a starter and then sushis, sashimi and rolls
We had initilly booked a table for 10 but actually 11 people showed up.
They were ready to add one more seat to our table with no problem
They gave us great recommendations for appetizers and dimsum
Definitely worth it
Thank you Sachi
My fave for being so close from my office and the UN.
The bento is great.. For less than $20 you can get a yummy bento with many choices of food, like salmon teriyaki, beef toro, beef flank and more, complete with salad, miso soup, California rolls or avocado rolls and choices of mushroom spring roll or siomay.
Besides yummy bento and lunch special, try the dessert.
I love the baked pear with miso sauce ( interesting, isn't it :)), and the flourless choco cake.
Great Happy Hour specials! Nice ambiance.
The Braised Short Rib Massaman Curry is AMAZING! I took my wife here for a Saturday night dinner, I was surprised that it was not more busy. We ordered the Crystal Shrimp Dumping and the Pink Lady Roll for apps, both were outstanding, particularly loved the Pink Lady. For dinner we had the Short Rib Massaman Curry and Shrimp Pad Thai. The massaman curry was out of this world, they could use that with any protein and it would have been just as good.
It was easy to get into Sachi, and I really have no major complaints about it. It's just that it was nothing particularly special in terms of food. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was nice.
