The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I would recommend Sabor for a business lunch, a friendly get together or even date night!

Wonderfully creative and diverse menu selection, and the food was simply outstanding. Our server was engaging, friendly and provided us with very professional service. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, though it is fairly wide open in the main area so it is not particularly romantic.

Really good! One of the better options in the city. Haven't had a bad meal there yet. Find it fairly pricey compared to some other fine dining options in the city. (IE: believe it or not, it's more expensive than a comparable dinner at Uccelino's (appies, drinks,wine,main and then dessert). I know this for a fact because we tried these 2 restaurants back to back last fall for my parents 61st anniversary and the bill was approx. $200 less at Ucellino's for 6 people and we even had ALOT of leftovers from Uccelino whereas we have never had leftovers from Sabor in the 6 or so times we've been there in the last year. But that being said - you won't be disappointed at Sabor. The food is very good and authentic. Top quality. I just wish that the portions and value were a little better for the price. It's getting SO expensive to dine out!!

Being a vegetarian myself, it can sometimes be difficult to find menu items to suit my diet but I have always been happy with the vegetarian options here at Sabor. The other 3 in our group loved the seafood options. Particularily of note are: Piri Piri Prawns, Lobster Risotto, Fried Calamari, 5 tomato salad. All exceptional!

Also to note, when I made my reservations I noted that we were celebrating double anniversaries on this occasion (ours and my husband's cousin) and no mention was made of it or even a special little sampling of dessert or anything (they do have mini dessert samples on the menu) on either this occasion or my parents 61st last November. It would be nice to get a little something when you spend approx. $125/person on a special occasion. Especially since we brought another couple with us who had never been to Sabor and introduced them with a new patron.

This was my first time sitting in the upper level of this restaurant. I must say I was so impressed. The service was perfect, the ambience was amazing and the food and desert were prepared perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone, it doesn’t have to be a fancy night out.

We had a great experience! We were celebrating a special birthday and we truly enjoyed our evening. The Piri Pir Shrimp appetizer was fantastic. We all had different Entrees and everyone enjoyed and shared their meals. Additionally, the service was spot on. We would highly recommend for a special occasion or nice dinner out!

The wife & I had the pleasure to enjoy our 5th year wedding anniversary on Sunday April 8th-2018 at Sabor Restaurant. Amazing Cuisine, service & atmosphere. We will be back and promote this "diamond in the ruff" to whoever will listen.

It’s such a nice restaurant. Brought my wife here for a birthday treat with the kids and from the time we got there the service was absolutely amazing. I was a little bit sceptical about the baby coming but they treated everybody so well. I’ll recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful dish also and well timed. Overall it was a wonderful experience and very family oriented. Love you guys

My wife and I eat out frequently and in our view it has the best food in the city. We have tried numerous dishes and everything is ...well...just better than elsewhere including the frequently mentioned "top picks" in the city. Live music is nice, service is good, but we really come for the food. Just outstanding.

Service and food were fantastic. Best vodka martini I’ve had in a long time. Muscles were amazing, steak and boar were phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Sabor is one of our favorite restaurants in Edmonton. It is always consistently great.

We landed in Edmonton from Saskatoon looking for a resto close to the Citadel Theatre. Little did we know what we had happened upon.

We like tapas so, naturally we had tapas.
We rarely eat dessert but we had dessert.
We rarely have a port but we had a port.

Why?
Because Darren our server was so knowledgeable, so gentle, so professional, so honest about what to recommend that we just kept eating and drinking.

The Portuguese port (Messias 1995) was precisely as it was recommended

It was my first time at Sabor's, the experience was amazing and a must experience for everyone!

The mussels appetizer was phenomenal, with beautifully fresh meaty sweet mussels. Our mains of Robalo and Cod & Prawns were delicious. The cod was a bit dry / over cooked, but the sweet succulent prawns and delicious curry sauce balanced the cod out nicely.

Our server, Pamela, was a treat. Her spunky vibrant attitude and attention to detail was great.

This is my favourite place to treat myself & others; this time I was indulging my parents. The service is what should be expected at fine dining & the menu is diverse enough to accommodate any diner while still focusing on amazing fish & seafood.

Darren was a fabulous waiter; charming & entertaining without sacrificing service levels. Just another great experience all around.

Food is always delicious, the Three Boars dish and the lobster Risotto are amazing and worth coming back again and again for. Service was outstanding, great ambience, a bit pricey for the portion size but worth it for the taste.

I've previously been to Sabor and enjoy the food every time. Their specials are always great and the service is always quick and friendly; especially for lunch when time is limited.
