This place is fantastic! It has a very family feel and the staff is lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going again.
Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. Its such a warm family and the neighborhood is so nice. Plenty of food options to choses from and desserts also. We always enjoy Sabatinos!
Very outdated establishment. Food was not the best quality.
Wait staff was good. Definitely not worth the prices they charge.
Great food and service. Quaint location rich in Little Italy history.
Sabatino's is a delight. The service was outstanding, the room was warm and cozy and the food delicious. Their signature salad was full of healthy items and topped off by the amazing Sabatino's salad dressing. The entrees were all served steaming hot and very sizable portions. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced and Sabatino's Italian bread and garlic bread are not to be missed. All in all, a delightful evening. We were all too full from dinner to try the desserts unfortunately.
Outstanding service and food! My daughter and I both had seafood dishes. I had the Frutti Di Mare and she had the Mussels Posillipo. I give five stars to both. We also shared the Bookmaker's salad for an appetizer. The homemade dressing really makes an already great salad. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Italian in Baltimore. We'll definitely be back!
Great food. Friendly, fast and accommodating service staff.
The gnocchi and bread were awesome. Staff were very attentive.
Been dining here my entire life. Delicious food, great service & recommendations by Anthony.
Excellent food! The homemade pasta was exceptional.
Worst meal in Baltimore
Over the last year my husband and I have been trying to support our local businesses and it saddens me to say that I am not only sorry we supported Sabatino's but also angry with Sabatino's for calling themselves "Italian" at all.
Upon arrival they have a small sign on a table asking patrons to fill out a form for contact tracing. Absolutely no one to greet us, meet us, or ask us in person. Contact tracing is absolutely fine, however, anyone who has been to the real Italy will tell you they are always welcome as if it were their own home. We stood around in a hallway waiting for someone to even notice us. We were finally noticed and we sat at a small table by a window in a socially distant room facing the street.
Our waiter was kind, however, clearly overwhelmed and not trained at all. We ordered appetizers along with our prosecco splits and the appetizers never arrived. The next thing we see is our dinners arriving at the table.
Dinner entrees arrived immediately and were horrible to say the least. I ordered the tortellini in tortellini sauce. There is not an eatery in the entire country of Italy that would believe what I was served was fresh tortellini. I received a mashed up, over cooked, unflavored bowl of pasta. Absolutely awful. I took two bites to be polite and that was it. My husband ordered a veal dish which was "ok" but quite tasteless. Bread was brought to the table but no where in Italy would they call what we received fresh bread.
We kept looking around the room and felt an absolute sense of not caring and having no pride. I have no idea who owns Sabatino's but it is evident to me that that person/s have never ever been to Italy. The curtains on all of the windows are absolutely filthy, so many of the light bulbs in the sconces are burned out, and 1/2 of the sconces are bent out of shape and facing the wrong way. The carpet in the dining rooms is disgusting. Restaurants should never ever have carpeting in the dining room.
Sabs in one of our all time favorites. My only issue is with the miniature water glasses. Need 1) bigger glasses (we requested never came), 2) bottles of water on the table so you can refill yourselves, or 3) someone designated going around refilling water. Love the food but dislike having to constantly ask for refills...probably about 6 times needed a refill during our meal, and server too busy.
It was Valentines weekend and my husband and I was visiting Baltimore and we made reservations at Sabatino and we are so glad that we did! The food was excellent I got the Shrimp fra Diavolo and my husband had the Veal Parm with Angel hair pasta! Both of these dishes were outstanding also for an appetizer we had Sausage and peppers and the peppers were just right and Sweet Italian Sausage was delicious! Our server Rick was helpful and friendly would eat here again.
You can't go wrong with the bookmaker salad and clams casino for an appetizers. Baked Gnocchi are outstanding.
We have been coming there for many years, Always great food and great service.
This year was a little different due to Covid, but it's always on the top of our list as the best restaurants we go to.
Thanks
and Good Luck in the future
Great service. Great food.
Great food and very comfortable atmosphere. Staff is very friendly.
We went here several years ago for my sons college graduation. It was just as amazing as the first time. The food was so delicious ! The waitress Peachie was awesome!! She made an amazing dinner even more special! The table were very spread apart we will be back!
I'm from Philly, where some of the best Italian restaurants in the country are located. Sabatino's is ok. I have been told it is the best Italian restaurant in Baltimore though.
Food was a complete disappointment, the clams casino were fantastic and they had an amazing Italian wine list.
Great food, good service! I hope they are able to remain open past the pandemic.
Our lunch at Sabs was excellent. Our server, Elizabeth, was great - friendly and paced our meal very well. Our food was perfectly prepared and delicious!
Great food and service, I would definitely recommend
Sabatino's has been a family favorite for many many years. It is always my first choice in Little Italy.
Such a great dinner. The service staff was very pleasant, the seating was spaced out well, and there was literally no wait when we arrived for our dinner. The quality and value was amazing as well.
Veal and eggplant parmesan was fantastic. Get both for a great value. Hard to find elsewhere....
Excellent experience!!! Food was delicious! Service was excellent! Can’t wait until next visit!
I was very confused why my husband got his meal served over pasta, my bro in law got his pasta on the side and I got no pasta at all! We all asked for side salads before hand but I’m not sure why that made a difference? We wanted the meals as normally served and a side salad but didn’t get it served that way! So I was served a plate of shrimp in broth with melted cheese, kind of awkward!! The place needed some refreshing also...just not worth the $ for a $200 meal...service was great!
Old fashion Italian food. Good service and big portion!
Not enough patrons! A place this great at prices this reasonable should be packed - to the maximum extent possible considering the covid situation. Great Food Great Service Great People Great Ambiance. Classic Italian Comfort Food at its Absolute Best. With a few original twists thrown in for good measure.
Ridiculous that so many of their outdoor heaters don’t work.
It's a nice quiet restaurant. The food was good but not the best Italian we've had. The flavor was a little bland and could have used more seasoning.
Amazing food! Great service. Cannot wait to go back again!
A very good neighborhood restaurant in Little Italy in Baltimore. The food was of a high level as was the service
Went there for my girlfriends birthday dinner. The server was great and so was the food. Will defiantly be returning!
Food made one of our diners sick. Was not very good. Service was subpar - building is very much out of date. Would not go again.
Peachy was our server and she made my Fiancé and I’s experience so great. She had great recommendations, she was super sweet and made us feel like we were at home. The food was phenomenal! The chicken Alfredo was the best I’ve ever had and the portions were large enough to have leftovers the next day which were just as good! The gnocchi with red sauce and meatballs was also very tasty. Fellas, if you want to show your lady to a nice night out, take her here at some point lol. It was great!
P.S. Ask for Peachy :)
We were not familiar with the area and asked some locals for restaurant recommendations. Sabatinos was their #1 recommendation. The staff were friendly, pleasant and very accommodating. The service was spectacular and the food was amazing!!! So delicious and such a great dining experience!
Birthday dinner (surprise for me) at my favorite restaurant in Little Italy. Can’t wait to go back!! Everything was amazing!! Tons of leftovers to take home because of the generous portion sizes!
Our server was fantastic! The food was fantastic! We were amused at the ambiance and decor as we really prefer dark and cozy and the lighting was very bright, no candles or anything to make it romantic. But we had a nice evening and would go back next time we visit Baltimore. Thank you!
