…some more updated and eclectic options that are delicious. The Mexican roll is a definite winner for vegetarians and for anyone who wants a light, refreshing snack. My favorites - unagi and hamachi were absolutely delicious. Will definitely return.
Food was ok for being one of the few Mexican themed restaurants in DC also were the cocktails, the mojito was unconventional (not a traditional one) it would’ve been best if explained beforehand. It was very attentive of the team to accommodate our reservation with a last minute guest.
I've ever had. The chocolate truffles and coffee were good too. The best part to us was the entertainment, as we love the Mexican guitar. The flamenco dancer Sarah was very fun. She did 2 sets about 10m…
…wait. Service was ok, she did not give us a refill on soda or offer. Very very noisy restaurant so prepare to talk loudly across the table. Overall food was great and experience was good. Would go again for Mexican food.
This place has great food and great service. We're from Austin, Texas with lots of Tex-Mex and interior Mexican food options in our neighborhood. Don Lobos would make our dining rotation back home; the kids loved it too.
An amazing find. We have lived in several western states and to find such excellent and creative Mexican food in DC was a great surprise. The spinach dish was a delightful treat, and the manager and server were a lot of fun. Thanks!
…accommodating -- I had the duck but changed one of the sides to make it gluten free. The sauce was a combination of Middle Eastern and Mexican influences and was amazing. My dinner mates greatly enjoyed…
We went during the week celebrating Mexican food, featuring two guest chefs and a special menu. We couldn't have been happier with our selections. The food (including the grasshoppers!!) was delicious.
What a gem is Agua 301. Authentic Mexican brunch never disappoints. And the view from the restaurant's windows is unparalleled. A perfect riverfront dining experience on a weekend morning. Best guacamole in town.
Great express lunch!!! Roasted Brussels sprouts and Mexican corn are highlights as well as chicken and shrimp skewers. I have made this my place to go with friends for a nice meal. When it’s warm, sitting outside is very comfortable and fun.
I had friends in from out of town, Southern Californians... I was hesitant to take them anywhere "Mexican" because they obviously have high standards. They raved about the meal and we all had a very enjoyable time! Great cocktails as well.
Tortilla Coast serves delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. The server easily accommodated us when one more person showed up than we had on our reservation, and was kind to take a picture of our group. It is conveniently located to the Capitol South Metro stop.
First time going to this very much heard of Mexican place. Food is authentic and fresh. The rumors are true and if I could I would order everything from the menu. Best part of the night the chocolate piñata very fun.
Being at Espita is like being in Oaxaca but better. Chef Aikens, who has spent some time in Pujol's kitchen gets it right. If you are looking for a great Mexican meal, you will find it at Espita. I get to DC often and make Espita my first stop.
The bottomless tapas brunch option was fantastic. Great vibe and space. Friendly staff. Art is displayed and sold throughout the walls! Food was solid, largely Mexican themed. Waffle bar, taco bar + bloody mary bar all were fun. I'd love to come back and recommend to others!
Nice mexican resturant but Very Loud hard to have conversation with anyone hearing aid/issue without shouting... Fun for birthday or other celebration... nothing special about food average/good Tex-mexican…
