Appalachia Restaurant brings an upscale-casual experience to an intimate setting. With stunning views and a cuisine that offers an Appalachian flair, you will be immersed with the true spirit of Lake Lure.
Dinner at the restaurant begins at 4:30pm.
We bring the Appalachian heritage from the outdoors in while dining in front of the stunning 525 million year old mountains. Inside, outside, or bar room dining, you will have a gorgeous view of Lake Lure and the Appalachian mountains. Boats Slips are first come, first serve. Due to the small volume of tables, we cannot accept preferred table/view requests.
Dress Code: No swimwear or coverups, must have shoes.

We had another amazing dinner at Appalachia. We love the atmosphere along with the great customer service we receive every time we visit. The food is amazing!!

I love this restaurant. I dine here frequently with friends and we enjoy every visit. I have always had good experiences and the food is exceptional. We especially enjoy brunch as there are more choices. Our servers are always professional and exceptional.

Aaron Edwards is extraordinarily gifted in the culinary arts. Each item on every plate is uniquely prepared in an innovative way to deliver maximum sensual pleasure in both taste and appearance. Another great celebratory evening and meal at Newman's. Very nice service, well attended, timely and seamless delivery of absolutely delicious and well-prepared food. We'll be back and perhaps staying a couple of nights.

Our server, Karen, was so amazing!!! She was attentive and extremely helpful at providing recommendations for compliments to our meal. The hostess also looked at our seating preferences and was very accommodating. Food was DELICIOUS!! Cooked and seasoned very well, presented beautifully. Quality ingredients were also noted. Overall, an amazing anniversary experience for us! We will definitely return!
