Probably the best restaurant on the island. The food is outstanding and you feel like family when you dine at The Studio. Service is unmatched. I brought a first time diner and he said it was the best Salmon dish he ever had. Being vegan, their menu has several options including a bowl of the day. Fabulous

Our aim is to capture the incorrigible spirit and convivial atmosphere of the original Ribaut Club, established at the Anchorage in 1891. In its heyday, the Club hosted performances, grand parties, dances and even gambling—a raucous getaway from buttoned-up social strictures of the time. Visited the Social Club in a Friday evening ( with reservations) at 7 pm . Sat on the huge Southern front porch with a view of the marsh. 6 other tables were also seated. The food was delicious: I ordered the chef’s take on chicken n dumplings and my husband had the scallops. The dessert was a chocolate mouse. The only negative I will say was the service was slow. The waiter and waitress were attentive with refilling our glasses and pleasant but the overall service was slow. We did not mind because both my husband and I have worked in this industry and 100% understand when a new hire is being trained or when there is a big event being attended to during regular dinner hours . We had no plans after dinner so we just enjoyed the view , the beauty of the old house, and conversation.

I recently dined at Salt and Marrow and had an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the menu offered a great selection. However, what truly stood out was the outstanding service from my server, Lorraine. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations. Her warm and friendly demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable. Lorraine went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her professionalism added a special touch to the evening. I highly recommend Salt and Marrow, especially if you're lucky enough to have Lorraine as your server!
