Weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate or special events – we strive to exceed your dreams. Innovative and skillfully executed dishes follow the lead of nature, being mindful of the environment.

Due to the style of menu on special events and holidays and the complexities involved with individual and specific food allergies, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions on those days. We make every effort to provide vegetarian and accommodate gluten sensitivities.

Guapo’s is our favorite restaurant. There is nothing like it anywhere. The chips are unbelievable, so thin and crispy and warm. The guacamole is unbelievable, really the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The two different sauces they give you are fantastic, I love the roasted one and my husband loves the pico de gallo. The food is delicious. The service is great. We come back here week after week, month after month, year after year. It’s really great.

The food, service and atmosphere were very good. It's just that this isn't really an omakase. It is really a tasting menu. I was also not so happy with only one choice of white wine at $25/glass and no option to buy by the bottle.

Mallard is an absolute must dine in DC. Our server, Crystal, struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving our party room to enjoy the food and atmosphere. We all remarked that Mallard was such a welcome reprieve from the usual, rude service one can expect to receive in DC. Crystal and the rest of Mallard staff treated us with genuine Southern hospitality! As for the food, don’t sleep on the crudo, the fried oysters, or the sweat meat/waffle combo. Truly delicious food. We look forward to eating at Mallard again soon.
