Our casual restaurant has a retro contemporary theme which includes a carved wood bar topped with marble, granite table tops and bright turquoise and red accents flanking the wood-burning brick oven. Terrace seating is shared with our fine dining concept Bella Roma.

Flavio, a third-generation chef from Venice, Italy, says his Farinata is not available anywhere else in the area. The thin pancake (much like a tortilla) is made of chickpeas, baked in the wood-burning oven and enhanced with rosemary and other savory toppings.

Among Flavio's thin-crust pizzas (his grandfather's recipes) are the popular Quattro Stagioni (fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, prosciutto, olives) and the Pizza Vegetariana with assorted grilled veggies. The rustic bread and focaccia are made on the premises. Flavio's also serves up house-made pasta dishes, plus veal and seafood entrees.

Blu Kouzina is bringing its signature, wholesome Greek cooking to the Sunshine State after gracing for the past five years Singapore’s culinary scene. The acclaimed restaurant, born out of the founders’ passion for the food of their native Greece and their love of sharing a hearty, family meal with friends, has set up a second home in Sarasota.

Fresh and quality ingredients, mostly grown organically, and sourced from well established, local producers are used in dishes that are both traditional and creatively contemporary. What remains uniquely Greek and genuine are the flavors and the scents of extra virgin olive oil, fresh fish or succulent lamb that will take you on a journey from a beach-side taverna to a rural mezze shop.

This restaurant probably is one of the best I’ve ever eaten in several months ago. My sister took me there. We had these little tiny meatball appetizers. I went back to Naples Florida going probably to three or four Greek restaurants trying to find them and no one had them so last night I ordered the meatballs, their fantastic eggplant dip and also a skewered beef… It was excellent. Waited for the next table to have their Bronzino serve just see what it was like. OMG it was absolutely beautiful. Their food is nothing short of exquisite. They really need one of these restaurants in Naples Florida too. When I walked out the door I noticed several people walking by and pointing out to others that this food was delicious. This was my first visit to JPAN Sarasota and it will not be my last! Out of our party of 6 only one person was not completely satisfied and that was just with a side dish. She said that the steamed dumplings were okay but not great. There is always one person that complains. The other 5 of us were completely satisfied! I had fatty tuna sushi and it was awesome. Along with that I had shrimp tempura and it was some of the best that I have ever had. My wife had Udon noodles and she said that it was delicious, and my daughter and my niece both had had specialty rolls that they raved about. My sister-in-law is gluten free and the staff was more than accommodating. The other sister-in-law (the complainer) had steamed dumplings and spring rolls. Overall this was one of the best Asian meals that I have ever had in Sarasota. All of that said about the food, I have to say that the service was even better than the food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. I could not be happier!!!
