Went on a Monday for one of their wine pairing dinners. The wines were all amazing but the food was spectacular. The raw oysters I could have just kept eating them all night and been happy. The scallops were my second favorite with a beautiful nectarine vinaigrette. I would highly recommend going for dinner if you haven’t been before. I’m looking forward to going again!

Our server, Katelyn (I think) was so fun ! She knew a lot about the menu and sold me on the special of the night! It did not disappoint either. It was a great little dress-up date night in an unexpected location. Will definitely be back.

Yummy food. Kitchen was a little slow but it was delicious and the owner was very involved. We will try it again.

The filet Mignone is the best with the blue cheese butter. The Happy Hour is the best anywhere Low prices on quality drinks and a great variety of appetizer choices. Literally, you could just sit in the bar and enjoy dinner. Definitely check it out!

Mike and Cindy, partners in BlackFly and owners of the Famous Collage Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine are the operational managers. The menu is the grand result of their combined expertise, their years of experience in bringing the best possible product to the table and the imaginative input of our talented culinary team. The restaurant is under the internationally known BlackFly Brand of Vaughn Cochran, a Florida artist who lives and paints in St. Augustine, Florida and who developed the famous BlackFly Logo.

Great restaurant. Super clean and super comfortable. Cool atmosphere with great art work. The service was excellent. The food and drink were excellent. We had the steak special, seared Ahi, Linguica, and a flet. They were delicious as were the sides. One of the best in St. Augustine.

Pesca Dining Room is a sophisticated but vibrant restaurant located on the ground level of the Hyatt place hotel serving dinner service only. Pesca’s dining room menu combines globally-inspired coastal cuisine with bold Latin flavors and fresh ingredients from Florida. The name “Pesca”, derived from the Spanish word for fishing, is a tribute to the owner’s late father’s favorite restaurant in his native Puerto Rico. The dining room features a main indoor dining area, an adjacent bar, a meticulously curated wine library, a private dining room, and a chef’s experience table. The menu predominantly features Latin flavors but with a global twist. Pesca By Michales also serves as the in-house caterer for the Hyatt Place’s banquet room, designed for upscale events.

Thewait staff specifically Catalina and Blake were awesome. The food was fantastic as well. However, we are sorry to see the shrimp and grits off the menu.

The Reef, originally called Comptons, was built by the Usina family on a beautiful piece of oceanfront property in tranquil North Beach--three miles north of the Usina Bridge--on land owned by the family for generations. Comptons opened in 1989 and enjoyed great success for the next ten years. It closed in 1999 due to the ill health of Mr. Compton and hurricane damage. There are few remaining true Oceanfront restaurants in Northeast Florida, and of those The Reef, reopened in 2002 under the direct ownership of the Usinas, commands the most spectacular views. Sit at any table inside and the view is dynamic to say the least, or enjoy the recently rebuilt and expanded deck where you not only look out at The Ocean, you listen to it too as the waves break and the birds cry. To complement this vista Chef Greg Cooper has created a menu primarily of fish and seafood balanced with beef, poultry pasta and creative specials, always fresh and sourced locally whenever possible.

Food was fantastic! We went back after eating there with some friends. We ordered the same dish again and just as great as the time before.We also were lucky enough to get the same waitress Isabel she is one of the Best waitress we ever had and will request her next time. (Shrimp and Lobster risotto is a must try! )
