We were there early so it wasn’t crowded or noisy! Great service! We had delicious food and enjoyed the tvs with lots of sports on all around us. Will definitely be back!!

Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Jean-Paul Lair, who has graced the restaurant for over 25 years. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favorite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

Lovely outdoor seating areas. Caesar salad was pretty average, but everything else was outstanding we had the lobster and shrimp ceviche, asian spiced barramundi and chicken schnitzel . The cilantro and lime rice was light and fluffy. And the goat cheese potatoes were so good that I’m searching for a recipe. the dessert breeze cocktail was refreshing. Will definitely go back

I arrived shortly after 4:30 for a 5:30 reservation (hungry early!), and they accommodated me promptly. My dog and I sat on the outside back patio, and the waiter promptly brought her a bowl of water. I was delighted with the long list of alcohol-free cocktails, since I was my own designated driver that night. I had a delicious alcohol-free Negroni followed by a quinoa salad. The waiter was just the right amount of attentive. This was my "treat night" on a camping vacation, where my other meals were cold cereal, peanut butter sandwiches, and leftovers brought from home. It was definitely a treat, and I will be back the next time I camp in Idyllwild.

Came in for the Fried Chicken - it was quite good - a lot of food- but the price point may be a bit high for chicken, but we enjoyed the food. It is a little hot inside the restaurant. We are interested in in trying the pizza and pasta on Saturday.

Everyone was inside due to it being so hot out. Was VERY noisy. Couldn’t hear each other at the same table. Also, menu prices didn’t match bill. They fixed the issue, but didn’t even know this was the case until we pointed it out. How many others were overcharged??
