Wine Bar
Palm Desert
About the restaurant
Bar seating and ledge-leaning is the rule of thumb—think Paris tabac or the zinc—the heat of local life, crowded with regulars at the counter waiting for their vin rouge. Here you’ll find our Cave à Manger, an eclectic curation of wines by the glass, paired with a menu of small plated savory delicacies created for this tasting smorgasbord. More than an amuse-bouche, less than a serving. Range, variety, exploration, and discovery are the point.

Counter Reformation is located inside Parker Palm Springs, a Leading Hotels of the World property. Valet parking is complimentary when you dine.

Reservations are recommended, but if you don’t see availability, just walk in for the next seat at the counter.

Want to dive deeper into the wine list? Meet Bruce Barrett, our hotel sommelier—just ask for him.

About the restaurant
Canopy Wine Lounge is a driving source for wine & community no matter where your palate takes you. To curate this lounge, a partnership formed between longtime Palm Springs local Noah Mamet and the owner of our 15 unique winery properties around the globe. Our decor is a modern take on the popular design of the 1950's, using clean lines, pops of color, and various textured fabrics and fixtures.

To accent our wine bar, we have a custom-built clay amphora where our in-house winemaker will be fermenting and ageing a Californian rosé. Glowing fireplace features highlight our meticulously curated selection of desert plants. Our food bites are meant to be paired with quality-driven wines and lively conversation between friends.

The food and service were great, but it was distracting to have a ball game going on a big screen TV quite close to our table. I think they should lose the television.

Palm Desert
About the restaurant
Cork Tree Restaurant is built around California products. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and wines of the West Coast, particularly California, are featured.

The wine list is always a work in progress, with a balance of well known wineries, as well as boutique wineries.

Cork Tree enhabits a style rich in California elegance. Large and round booths privately encased in wood and fabric provide intimate spaces for conversation and romance, while providing views of the understated glamour of the dining room. Beautiful Palm Trees and a natural cascading fountain make the Cork Tree Patio wind-protected and well-appointed for dining under the stars. Additionally, depending on the size of your celebration, two private dining options await.

We were celebrating a birthday for my husband and the 2 of us ordered the cowboy ribeye to share. I did not see a sharing charge but we were charged a much higher price for the ribeye than what the menu stated. Price on men was like $62 but we were charged $76.50. Also, when I called the corkage fee was quoted as $40 which I thought was extreme. Sadly I decided to just order wine at the restaurant by the glass. The cab I got was obviously from an opened bottle, as I got the last pour, and it was not as I would have expected for a good glass of wine. All in all, the food was great, but just confused as to why the change in the pricing from the menu.

Some of the best food in the desert. And beautiful outdoor dining area for warm (but not too hot) evenings. It’s very expensive but if that’s not a factor, I highly recommend it.

We went for our 31st anniversary. Late in the season for the desert. We were the only customers because the resturant was getting ready to close for July due to heat. However, we had great service and the food is excellent. We sat on the patio that oversees the golf course.
