About the restaurant
Chez Noir is Jonny and Monique’s love letter to Monterey County, celebrating its finest ingredients. We offer a $165 four-course menu in the dining room and on our patio. Our wine program focuses on independent producers, with an all California wine pairing, and select bottles from the West Coast, Spain and France.

A no-show fee of $165 per person will be charged to parties who cancel less than 48 hours before their reservation. This policy applies to reductions in party size.

Please note that Chez Noir is designed for adults. While we leave the decision to bring children up to the discretion of the parents, it is essential that all guests, no matter how small, be included in the guest count. We do not offer off-menu dishes or high chairs.

Grasing’s, located in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, lies along the Pacific Coast in Central California in Monterey County. Celebrity chef partners, Kurt Grasing and Narsai David, truly created a gem. From friendly and professional service, an award winning wine list and seasonally inspired cocktails to the fresh and sustainable local ingredients.

Excellent, we met Kurt, and he and his excellent staff, who took really good care of us in the bar. Wow! 3000 wine cellar!⭐️🍷We will be back!

Dinner at Mezzaluna – always a Delightful Evening We had a wonderful dinner at Mezzaluna! From start to finish, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. I ordered the rigatoni, which was cooked to perfection and full of rich, comforting flavor. My husband had the lasagna, and it was hands down one of the best we've had—layered beautifully and bursting with savory goodness. To top it all off, we shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a truly memorable meal. Highly recommend Mezzaluna for a warm, delicious dining experience—we’ll definitely be back!

Our family-friendly Monterey Bay restaurant is close to the Aquarium, situated over sapphire waters and immersed in the natural beauty of the California coast. The C restaurant features only seafood endorsed by Seafood Watch of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The delicious Arctic Char featured on Executive Chef Matt Bolton's menus is similar to salmon in taste, texture and color, but is available year-round, and is rated a "best choice" by Seafood Watch.

Located at the upscale InterContinental The Clement Monterey hotel on Monterey Bay. Every table at the C restaurant has a view of the pristine and scenic Monterey Bay. From the time you are greeted and seated, you would think you were in the best restaurant in New York City. Since we are senior citizens and celebrating our anniversary, the waiter was very helpful in assisting us make the correct food choices. The room was the Conservatory was elegant and 95% of the guests adhered to the dress code which in California is unheard of! The Manager came to our table twice to make sure we were taken care of. Try it if you want excellent food and service! Prices reasonable. BTW.. the octopus was outstanding!!

Wonderful food and service! We were celebrating our anniversary and the hostess and server made the occasion very special. Each dish we ordered was flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back :)

The Coastal Kitchen Monterey is an idyllic setting to enjoy inspirational fine dining. The culinary efforts are on display in the show kitchen and the service team is poised to offer impassioned explanations.

Reservation Cancellation Policy: 24 Hours Prior to Reservation Time
Late Cancellation Fee: $50 per guest cancelation.

Our current hours are as follows.
Monday - Thursday, Dinner 4:30pm to 9:00pm
Friday- Saturday, Dinner 4:30pm to 9:30pm

Policies: We do require a credit card for reservations. We reserve the right to charge guests who do not show up for their reservations or cancel within a 24 hour notice.
The charge for NO SHOW is $35 per guest. We will hold your table for 15min max, and will automatically allot 2hrs for your dining pleasure.
Parties of 5 or more will need to make special accommodations with the hostess.

Casanova is always a lovely experience. The Dover sole and crab risotto are must have dishes. Lovely basque cheesecake as well. Service is always wonderful. Thank you for a great meal.
