Our family-friendly Monterey Bay restaurant is close to the Aquarium, situated over sapphire waters and immersed in the natural beauty of the California coast. The C restaurant features only seafood endorsed by Seafood Watch of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The delicious Arctic Char featured on Executive Chef Matt Bolton's menus is similar to salmon in taste, texture and color, but is available year-round, and is rated a "best choice" by Seafood Watch.

Located at the upscale InterContinental The Clement Monterey hotel on Monterey Bay. Every table at the C restaurant has a view of the pristine and scenic Monterey Bay. We had reservations at 9am for a group of 7 of us. We arrived on time and our table was ready and waiting for us. The restaurant is cute but small. We ate inside but the patio is beautiful and has heaters. It was a bit chilly inside and outside. The food was very good and there was a good selection of espresso, coffees, and teas. The pancakes were a little bit flat but still tasty. The homemade jam was yummy!

Fifty eight years ago, Elaine and Pierre Boissiere established their eponymous restaurant at its current location, years before Carmel Plaza shopping center was built around it. They sought to offer the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea a relaxing and comforting venue modeled after a European chateau where tables are thoughtfully spaced and fresh flowers, fireplace, candles and soothing musical notes are integral part of the dining experience. The ambience sets the tone for French country food served with a great deal of care for detail and pastries baked daily on premises. It is a testament to their far sightedness that Patisserie Boissiere Restaurant continues to fulfill their vision to this day.

Love this place. Their onion soup is the best ever and the appetizer of baked Brie and pate is the absolute meal in itself. Such friendly staff and owners. We are frequent diners there and will remain so.

The food at Edwin’s was a wonderful burst of flavors. The menu had an amazing fusion of southeast Asian food. Service was delightful and all the staff were super friendly, especially Dexter. He made our visit really fantastic!
