We loved this place! We drove by it many times but decided to stop by Friday night. The service was attentive, and the food was amazing! This will be a regular upscale date-night ristorante for us. Kudos to the staff and ownership.

The inside of the restaurant is as cozy and comfortable as one would expect, as it is a relaxed atmosphere similar to a sports bar in the off-season. One of the keys to Upstate's success is its commitment to freshness. So much so that there isn't even a freezer in the building as everything is brought in fresh daily.Obviously, the oysters and clams are what most patrons come for, and Upstate's selection of west and east coast varieties changes every day, depending on what is available. That's certainly not the only thing on the menu, though. Guests can try out shared plates of house cured salmon, crab cakes, squid salad and even sea urchin.

We found this venue by chance. It was one of the best surprises with food, drink and oyster knowledge that far surpassed our expectations. We will be back the first chance we get.

Great Food - especially if you love seafood. The Dover Sole was cooked perfectly. Had to leave a bite or two on the plate to try a dessert. The Pecan Pie was delicious and big enough for two, maybe three. Friendly helpful Service - Jose, our server, full of bright energy, suggested delicious choices, The greeter was engaging. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

We love dining at Campania because the food is so good. The portion sizes are perfect and everything is always cooked perfectly. I always like to try a new dish and this time I had the grilled octopus which I would have to say is probably one of the best I've ever had. Always a great meal and the service is impeccable. Love this place!
