I have been to Kochi five times and they never disappoint. The courses are not only consistently interesting but they also taste good…as opposed to some fixed menus that just hit ‘interesting’. The service is top notch. Really good team work and just the right amount of connection without intruding. And they recognize you when you come back. Shorter wine list but great selection. Warm comfortable decor. Absolutely love Kochi!

Place is very serene. Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Genesis showroom. Small, but very relaxing, tea room next to restaurant for people waiting for table (you have to take off shoes and sit in floor). Thought service and food quality was good. Value on some of the entries (like teok galbi) isn’t quite there but a nice restaurant nevertheless with a great view.

Greenwich Village
About the restaurant
We are primarily reservation based and very limited for walk-in availability.

Jeju, in Korean, also has a few different definitions such as “skill, talent, ability”.

The close Korean equivalent of the Japanese Ramen, Ramyun is a comfort dish enjoyed by Koreans of all social class and ages. At Jeju Noodle Bar our main focus is to allow diners to experience and savor the distinct Korean flavor by using different techniques & ingredients from chef Douglas’s experiences.

Sinsa is a Korean American wine bar in the East Village that serves inventive remixes of classic Korean dishes with global influences. It is the sister restaurant to Rice Thief in LIC. Some of guest favorites are the Kimchi Uni Toast, Wagyu Beef Tartare (Definitely add the caviar supplement!), Southern K.F.C., and of course, the Rice Thief which is an homage to their sister restaurant. The restaurant is named after the Korean word for "gentleman," and the staff strives to make guests feel welcome and cared for.
