Business meetings in new location of Capital Grille work! Centrally located atop Grand Central - Connected To east/west/New Jersey /Connecticut/Long Island, as well as the boroughs, is convenient for most. As A Boston native, I was a Boston flagship regular. Presently I live/work in Manhattan & I’ve become a huge Manhattan Bill Butler, Managing Partner fan. Bill donated to my daughter, Heather’s Breast Cancer Foundation. For many years. We lost Heather at age 25 of stage 4 metastasized breast Cancer. Bill has a “hidden weapon” Manager “Jill” - tiny in stature: GIGANTIC in Leadership Expertise!! Her team consists of 4 managers & a vast support team who are trained to accommodate “John Q. Public” & his myriad of “challenges”. Jill’s stilletos 👠are 5” or 6”, but don’t let that fool you!! Jill is EVERYWHERE & “The FORCE” skillfully managing this HUGE property: doubled in size from the last owner. #Patina’s #NAPLES 45. Most of Their competitors are salivating over their consistently high volume throughout: bar & lounge & main diningroom! Since openjng their volume continues!! PS: managing partner & Executive chef Alex Garcia skillfully delivers the “Capital Grille” core selections plus specials, to delight his guests: locals. Tourists, commuters! Bill Butler: YOU have figured out “What Works” “What Doesn’t””! I celebrate our long time partnership to Support ALL that you do! Congratulations! 🎊🎉🎈🍾 Bonnie from NYC.

Steakhouse
Midtown West
About the restaurant
Founded by former Ziegfield girl Helen Gallagher and the colorful gambler and sports enthusiast Jack Solomon, Gallaghers opened as a speakeasy and steakhouse in 1927. At that time, the height of Prohibition, a good stiff drink and a great steak were hard to find in New York – except, of course, at Gallaghers.

New Yorkers come for the world-class cocktails and incredible steak – prime beef dry-aged for 21 days in Gallaghers’ legendary windowed meat locker. The combination of all-natural dry aging and cooking it to perfection over hickory coals makes for a steak unlike any other found in New York.

Gallaghers’ guests are welcome in a wide variety of attire – from elegant casual to business suits. We respectfully request that you refrain from wearing hats, sports jerseys, tank tops and shorts.

About the restaurant
A sultry steakhouse in New York City where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. Pair your meal with our extensive wine list in our dining rooms that are adorned with siren red interior and black and white vintage photography. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my husband‘s 50th birthday. Ronnie was an excellent server. My husband had a bone-in ribeye, and it was excellent. I had the filet mignon and the beet goat salad. Everything was fantastic and cooked to perfection.

About the restaurant
Via Brasil Restaurant has been serving up the best in Brazilian cuisine in midtown Manhattan in New York since 1978. With that many years under the belt, you can count on well-prepared traditional dishes that your family is sure to love. Only the freshest ingredients and highest quality meats are used in the flavorful dishes. A popular meat choice at Via Brasil is the grilled filet mignon. It is made extra special with a bacon wrapping and hearts of palm sauce. The churassco is another favorite. For seafood lovers, the grilled salmon with pineapple sauce is satisfying and delicious. The Via Brasil moquecas stew is also a winner as is the national Brazilian dish of feijoada complete. The authenticity extends to the bar with wines from Brazil and drinks made with the Brazilian liquor cachaça.

Service and Atmosphere were very good, with the commensurate noise level. Nothing wrong. The appetiser sortido was very dry (old?). The Pao de Queijo was good. In the feijoada, the carne seca was incredibly fatty, with extremely little real meat substance and mostly fat. I am a regular eater of feijoada and I know what to expect. The linguiça, verdes, farofa and laranja were good. The desserts were OK, the maracuja mousse was good. As usual, the" 1 feijoada for 2" was plenty for 3. Nothing dramatic but I have had better feijoadas including in NY.

About the restaurant

With 4 decades of experience, Wolfgang Zwiener didn't duplicate an exceptional steakhouse, he improved on it to make Wolfgang's Steakhouse exceptional. The porterhouse steak for one, two, four or more, is an outstanding choice. The atmosphere, expanded menu & professional service will appeal to even the most exacting diners. Wolfgang's is pleased to add this location in the heart of Midtown East.
