1st time visit. Excellent service from the moment I walked in. Food was delicious. I'd skip the crab legs, but double down on the Porter house (3 of us barely finished the 2 person portion). Excellent, but pricey wine list.

We live capital grille. It’s our go to restaurant for great food. Steaks are always excellent and cooked to perfection. Loved the lamb chops. Service is always perfect. Expensive - but delicious. Consistently outstanding.

Strip House Speakeasy is located in the space next to the original Strip House in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Set in glamorous backdrop of the Roaring Twenties & Prohibition Era, 11 East 12th Street was one of the thousands of illegal speakeasies supplying NYC with Libations & Liberation. Its hidden connection to the room above - 13 East 12th Street - helped spark its success for when officers arrived with a search warrant in hand, they were only able to gain entrance to the physical address listed - ‘13 East’...not ‘11’.

Founded by former Ziegfield girl Helen Gallagher and the colorful gambler and sports enthusiast Jack Solomon, Gallaghers opened as a speakeasy and steakhouse in 1927. At that time, the height of Prohibition, a good stiff drink and a great steak were hard to find in New York – except, of course, at Gallaghers.

New Yorkers come for the world-class cocktails and incredible steak – prime beef dry-aged for 21 days in Gallaghers’ legendary windowed meat locker. The combination of all-natural dry aging and cooking it to perfection over hickory coals makes for a steak unlike any other found in New York.

Gallaghers’ guests are welcome in a wide variety of attire – from elegant casual to business suits. We respectfully request that you refrain from wearing hats, sports jerseys, tank tops and shorts.

Located in New York's landmark Helmsley Building, Bobby Van's Steakhouse has been serving the best porterhouse in town for the last eleven years.
