The service provided by our waitress was perfect. The ambiance, music and setting great. Lots of kids on the lawn are a distraction. Wine pairings are great.

This is an exquisite restaurant that presents its multi-course pre-fixe dinners with pride and professionalism. The food is perfectly crafted both to please the palate and to dazzle the eye. This is an experience in which very visitor to Banff must indulge, both for the cuisine and for the manner in which the sophisticated waitstaff professionals turn a meal into a memorable evening.

Our waiter, Luke did a wonderful job. My wife had the aged duck and enjoyed the bison filet. Rating on the duck was very good, but the bison was the best I’ve ever eaten. The veggies with the meals were good, as were the appetizer salads. We had Local Gems, greens, and a Tomato & Burrata. Wine selection is very good and extensive. Service was very, very good. The experience is pricey, but you are at a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location.

Overall the best dinner on our vacation so far. Service was excellent, food was out of this world and overall ambiance is very nice. Wish the Sky Bistro was in the USA.

Probably the best dinner we have had on a two week holiday in Canada. The menu was excellent, something for everyone! Our waitress, Eden, was excellent and knowledgeable and looked after us really well even though the restaurant and bar were very busy . The wine list is good too, plenty to chose from. We also had cocktails to begin with which were excellent! I would thoroughly recommend booking well in advance.

The food was creative and service was friendly. What was frustrating was that the bottle of wine we wanted (listed for 59 CAD in the same hotel at the restaurant upstairs) was 75 CAD on the menu posted outside Primrose and a whopping 98 CAD on the menu we received at our table.

This fine dining experience was just wonderful. The food was creatively prepared and absolutely delicious. I doubt there is a bad choice on the menu. We were especially swooning over the beet and parsnip soup and the flambéed at table lava cake. This is not a chain restaurant lava cake.

Food and service were great! My drink- excellent. Wine list- very limited and then the only 2 Canadian reds- they were out of. Very disappointing. Plus, they touted the view of the mountains- the windows were very dirty... and the restaurant is on the ground floor. So, not so much. It's also in a hotel where buses arrived with tourists, which we've been working hard to avoid, successfully. But, the food- dee-lish. Our server- wonderful!
