Overall very good food. Service was slightly slow they seemed understaffed. For the area though, great breakfast option. Pastries looked amazing though I didn’t try. Coffees were large and yummy.

The menu is interesting. We especially liked the sushi and sashimi, the radish salad, as well as the deserts. I would suggest that you offer traditional pork gyoza, because beef and cheese gyoza are not something we would expect in a Japanese restaurant. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return!

The food at Balkan was delicious! The staff was great and the space is lovely. We both had the grilled halloumi souvlaki plate and the food was so fresh and flavorful. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling in Banff looking for fresh and delicious food.
