It was a fun experience in an exclusive dedicated space of your dining experience. The ambiance and decor felt luxurious. The heater and air filter were a nice touch inside the dome. My dedicated waitress, Alisa was excellent and knowledgeable. She was pleasant and kind. The dome felt incredibly spacious with a table that can seat 10 people.

Loved our evening here. The food was delicious with only one small issue of my husbands bison steak being a bit oversalted but he was able to scrape it off. The caprese salad we shared for a starter was amazing and so was my chicken. The ambiance and service were excellent. Our server was a young man from France. I've forgotten his name but I hope management knows who I'm refering to. He was definitely a big factor in making this a great experience.

The Fairmont Banff Springs is an amazing place. Make sure to arrive early to look around. 1888 was excellent from beginning to end, but you have to be prepared to open your wallet. Banff tends to be pricey, and the 1888 reflects the it’s quality and location. We had the duck and Wagyu strip loin. Both were perfectly prepared. The potato side was amazing. Definitely a place for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant.The food was superb and the cosy atmosphere was a perfect setting for our dinner.The music wasn’t too loud and we could actually hear ourselves talking without having to shout.Our server was attentive and friendly,refilling our water glasses frequently. We will definitely return.

The welcoming host wasn’t warm or overly pleasant so we were concerned about how the night would go but once we sat down it all turned around. Patrick was our amazing, attentive and personable server! He made our dining experience a great one. Food was delicious.
