Prickett Richard is a cocktail bar located in the underbelly of Comery Block Barbecue. You’ll find the entrance in the back alley just off the corner of 17th Avenue and 6th Street SW. Look for the steel door and head inside. You’ll see a kitchen on your left, don’t go in there, just head downstairs and through the wooden clad door straight ahead. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are available based on availability.

Only negative- it gets quite noisy. Positives: beautiful location and decor, comfortable seating, great music, amazing service and the cocktails were delicious. I don’t usually take the time to leave a review but we walked out both thinking “ this might be my new favourite place!”

We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio. Very relaxed. Our server was lovely. We lingered and ordered and enjoyed several tapas and desserts and wine. Restrooms downstairs, and chairs and tables are patio appropriate. Inside is more lounge style. We enjoyed our night!

We had a party of 8 which I was able to book last minute to get in. I heard good things but it was even better than I expected. The burgers were juicy, the fries were crispy, and everything was very flavorful. The best part was the cost was very reasonable for 8 meals and drinks. We will definitely be going again.
