La Chronique gave us a night to remember! The food was absolutely incredible- the Artic Char with carrots four ways was possibly the best meal I've ever had. Our waiter, Luca, was so personable and funny. The food on it's own was an experience, but he gave us a fun, memorable night we're still talking about days later.

Never seen a marbled bone-in filet mignon before! Will try that next time. Service was kind and attentive, without being pretentious. We were placed centrally, but never felt overcrowded even though we went around 7pm on a Friday. Significantly pricier than say, the Keg, but the menu is luxurious and the beef is extraordinary-worth it! My only "complaint", if I can say that? The caramel cheesecake was a little expensive for the portion and quality. I imagine it's not made in-house. Oh, well. Now I know. In all, definitely lived up to the hype. 5 stars.

Everything - from Gyoza to sashimi and hotate special - excellent quality and great freshness of ingredients and flavour. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived from another event but by 9 pm it had filled nicely. Service was impeccable, attentive but not overbearing. Would love to come back and sit at the bar - grand presentation. Looking forward to return on my next visit to Montreal.
