We've been to Il Ponte a few times now, and have enjoyed it everytime. Always a great selection of amazing meals. The service is the best. Always attentive and ensuring that your experience is top notch. We usually go early before it gets really busy. But that's just us. Either way, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is pleasant. Cheers.

I've had omakase countless times, but this experience was on another level. The chef didn’t just serve incredible sushi—he delivered a captivating performance. Every movement was deliberate, every course beautifully timed, and the interaction made it feel personal and unforgettable. The food is exceptional: buttery toro, fresh uni, and perfectly seasoned rice all shine. A true gem in Toronto’s dining scene, and one I can’t recommend highly enough.

Lastnight we had the absolute pleasure of dining at what can only be described as the pinnacle of culinary excellence. From the moment we walked in, everything — everything — was flawless. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and intimate without being pretentious. The service was seamless — attentive yet unobtrusive — and every interaction felt, and was, genuine and thoughtful. But let’s talk about the food. This was, without exaggeration, perfection. There is no other way to describe it. Every bite was a masterpiece of flavour, texture, and presentation. You can see and taste the care, passion, and artistry in every dish. What truly elevates the experience, though, is Chef George. His love for what he does radiates through every detail of the restaurant. The precision, creativity, and heart he puts into his food is matched only by his attention to the little things — even the tableware feels chosen with purpose. You can tell that every element, down to the finest point, was curated with care. In short, everyone needs to experience this restaurant. I recently visited Kiyomi again, this time for their lunch omakase, after a wonderful dinner experience previously - and once again, the quality was outstanding. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared. The space is quiet, minimal, and spotlessly clean, with excellent, attentive service. The 10-course lunch is a great way to get a taste of what Kiyomi offers without the dinner rush. That said, if you're looking for the full experience, I’d recommend the dinner omakase, which I personally found more memorable and better value overall. Still, you can't go wrong - both lunch and dinner are solid choices, and I’d strongly recommend Kiyomi to anyone looking for authentic Japanese omakase done right.
