A delightfully dining experience. A colorful and lively little space close to public parking that offers unique menu options and a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails. We sampled the beet salad appetizer, salmon & scallop risotto entrees and the sticky toffee pudding, and found every course attractively presented and totally delicious! Grateful thanks to Meg & co. for taking such good care of us - offering such a friendly and professional service.

"We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind-of-a-bistro and kind-of-a-diner with an internationally inspired menu which is representative of the diverse cultures in Toronto.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. "

The food and service were excellent. We went at 6:15 on Saturday and it wasn't busy. I ordered the haddock and my husband ordered the filet. They were not big portions, but were filling.

We had a great dinner at Five87 Bistro. The ambiance and atmosphere were very inviting and the staff were personable and friendly. The food was excellent, with plenty of flavour and texture. The Rosemary Roasted Chicken was mouth wateringly good. We had a bottle of the California Cabernet Sauvignon which did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening and delicious food. Our server was genuinely friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome.

beerbistro is pretty chuffed to say that we were ahead of the beer-boom in Toronto! Since day one we took beer seriously — educating diners to the enormous range of flavours in beer — both in the glass and on the plate, serving up a varied bistro menu paired with a selection of 100+ local craft and international beers. There are only a few things that we insist on around here: that guests leave here with a new understanding of what a beer can be; that the kitchen employs the vast diversity of flavours found in beer to craft new tastes and food experiences; and that everyone — customers, staff, and management included — has a good time!

We went for dinner at around 745 to watch the leaf game. Got drinks but our food order wasn't taken for over an hour. When we finally had food order taken we were told the kitchen was closing so we had to get everything at once which lead to alot of food and wasn't at all a great experience for what we had paid for. I wish the waitress would have checked on us earlier and taken our order sooner to make this a bettwr dining experience.

This is a bit of a hidden gem inside the Gladstone Hotel. It was a quiet night. We had a great bartender/server on Friday night. The burger and fries and wings were really good as was my margarita. And the prices were super reasonable- how refreshing! Good place to hang out and talk.
