At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line. Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

We had a lovely meal. The service was outstanding right from when we walked in. The server was able to provide us with some excellent recommendations. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant.

My name is Burro. I love chef-inspired tacos, tequila drinks, good music (according to us), vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso, AND YOU!!

Our kitchen is 100% nut and GLUTEN-FREE, and we are 100% serious about that.

For the "Liquid Diet" sort of crowd. Our bartenders are equally happy to whip you up a hand-crafted creation or a classic cocktail. If you just want a shot of tequila we're into that too.

A few months ago my daughter and wife had dinner at Taco Tequila and raved about it. Because we aren’t in Niagara often, I finally got my chance to try it today. It was amazing!! Very authentic and delicious. My wife and I ordered the fajitas that were absolutely delicious, one of my kids ordered the beef tacos which were excellent and the other ordered fried calamari tacos which were good too. In addition, the margaritas tasted like the ones we’ve had in finer restaurants in Mexico. They were made from scratch with no ‘pre-mix’ going into it, amazing :) Our server Selena was simply outstanding which made this experience even better. Thank you Taco Tequila, we will be back next time we’re in town.
