Perfect date night! Starting with a run down of the various cuts of meat at the butcher shop entrance, then through the freezer door into the space and experience Papi’s has created. Our starters were the oysters and ahi tuna, followed by a 40 oz tomahawk main with mushrooms and brussel sprouts side. Everyrhing was on point: ambience, service, the quality and flavour of the dishes. Spending over $500 on a meal is not something I do regularly. But I wanted exceptional and Papi’s delivered. Simply excellent!

The Charcoal Steak House is an independent local steakhouse serving the Waterloo region community for over 65 years. Enjoy AAA Steaks, richly marbled wagyu, slow roasted prime rib, fresh seafood, mouth-watering pig tails, legendary smoked ribs and more. At lunch we feature an extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, bowls and healthy salad choices.

Sundays are made for Brunch from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Our Martinis Bar with summer patio offers the full Steak House menu or light meals in a more casual setting. Enjoy appetizers, a full meal, 20 beers on tap and beautiful outdoor seating area in summer.

We really enjoyed our steak Diane at Charcoal Steak House. Both my wife and I ordered that meal and we received our order in a very reasonable time. I had a vanilla cheesecake with cherry sauce on top plus regular coffee for desert. My wife had the Belgian chocolate mousse. Both were delicious. We certainly enjoyed our meals and prompt service.
