There were 6 of us and we had a variety of entrees. All were exceptional. We had 3 appetizers; the raw oysters, the bao buns and the calamari. They were all outstanding. The atmosphere was lovely and the tables were spaced nicely (not too close together). We did wait a little long to receive our meals. It was not a problem for us but we did take notice. I would still highly recommend Big Pete's

At Conversate we only use local fresh seasonal produce. Our meat is premium, using usda and certified angus prime cuts. Our seafood comes in fresh daily to ensure maximum freshness and quality.. our oysters are harvested 4 days before we receive them... freshness and quality premium ingredients is what we stand for and will not compromise ever on this.

My steak was cooked to perfection, it was probably the best steak I’ve ever had. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.

The Charcoal Steak House is an independent local steakhouse serving the Waterloo region community for over 65 years. Enjoy AAA Steaks, richly marbled wagyu, slow roasted prime rib, fresh seafood, mouth-watering pig tails, legendary smoked ribs and more. At lunch we feature an extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, bowls and healthy salad choices.

Sundays are made for Brunch from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Our Martinis Bar with summer patio offers the full Steak House menu or light meals in a more casual setting. Enjoy appetizers, a full meal, 20 beers on tap and beautiful outdoor seating area in summer.

Overall a good experience. Service was excellent from Jay. The Wedge salad has decreased in size and the outer leaves were rusty lettuce. The steaks were great. The prime rib looked oxidized.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Chop, as did my 2 friends. We all had an excellent meal, great service and really appreciated the outdoor seating area. Will highly recommend this restaurant to others and will definitely go back again
