Originally seated at a table inside. Due to the excessive noise from other guests requested to move to patio, which they did. Food was great, service was good considering the amount of guests. If you are looking for a quiet dining experience this may not be a good choice for inside.

Food was excellent! The facility is a little dated however the view is incredible. Service was great. The schnitzel was incredible, German chef. Would return!

Lure restaurant has the most amazing, friendly and efficient servers in Victoria! We return very regularly for breakfast just because Ellen is such a pleasant and amiable person that she makes our day! She always has a way to make people return again and again just to get a dose of her sunshine! Other servers such as Kate and Tess are also outstanding. They are fantastic ambassadors for Lure restaurant and the Hotel itself. We are a little less enamoured with the Chef’s unusual fusion cuisine for happy hour and dinner.

Had a terrific dinner here Friday night. The new menu is outstanding. All of our party really enjoyed their meals. Spot prawns are in season and one of the specials was Spot Prawns cooked and flambé at table by the chef served over a bed of black rice. Delicious!! My husband requested a special Italian dish and he was happily accommodated. Oh and the desserts were equally amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Our server was superb! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We sat on the patio just as we requested. Wine was a bit pricey but the whole ambience made it a wonderful evening. We ordered the fish taco and the salmon burger. Delicious! We tend to go here for special occasions and when we mentioned it, the server brought complimentary dessert.
