El 1er restaurante Oven está ubicado en pleno centro de Lincoln desde 1988 y está gestionado por sus propietarios, una familia de chefs que se han dedicado a crear gastronomía india desde hace más de 27 años. Los restaurantes Oven se especializan en comida del norte de la India, famosa por sus intensos colores, variedad de sabores y un estilo de cocina único en horno de barro, llamado Tandoor. El pollo, los camarones y el cordero se marinan durante horas en una mezcla de yogurt y especias, y se colocan en las brochetas, mientras los chefs preparan a mano diversos panes a diario. Después, las brochetas y los panes se colocan en el tandoor sobre una llama abierta, donde los panes se cocinan a la perfección y los sabores quedan sellados para garantizar la ternura y la calidad de la carne.
