I decided to give Lucy’s a second chance after having a poor customer service experience a few weeks ago. I am glad that I did. The staff was outstanding and the food was good. You get a good value for the money. I will go back.

Reservations strongly encouraged but we do accept walk-ins. We will only be able to seat you when 60% of your party has arrived. Tables are held for 10 minutes after initial reservation and then your table is forfeited. If the reserved table is forfeited, you will remain on the wait list and seated at the next available table. Subject to applicable change. Guests must arrive with reservation during volume periods to skip the line, late arriving guests will not gain access through a line.

All notes and requests in reference to particular seating arrangements between multiple parties will be accomodated to best of abilities, but not guaranteed. Parties will be seated in a discretionary manner based upon volume at time of seating.

We reserve the right to deny access to any guest under 21+ whenever volume dictates.

Liberty Tavern is a 130-seat restaurant spread over two rooms, including a 20-seat bar. In addition to our full-service kitchen offering our take on American classics, we also have two wood fired ovens. Our restaurant is a casual vibe that is perfect for dinner with friends and family, date nights, or to enjoy cheering on our Boston teams on one of our 11 TVs. We are open for lunch Monday-Friday at 12pm, with our main menu available until 10pm; and our late-night menu is available 10pm-12am daily. 10/10 – An outstanding experience at Liberty Tavern! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Even though we were a few minutes late, the host was kind and accommodating, and the service throughout the evening was flawless. The food was absolutely delicious: we started with the shrimp and avocado tacos, chicken wings, and stuffed pretzels — all packed with flavor. For mains, we had the margherita pizza, salmon, and fish & chips — each one perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as impressive: we enjoyed red sangria, Sam Adams beers, and a refreshing Kiwi Be Friends cocktail. This was our first time here, but definitely not the last. Highly recommended!

It was so wonderful that we went two days in a row on the weekend we were visiting. Amazing food, speedy and friendly service (we had the same waitress both times and she remember us and our orders), and reasonable prices!! also love that it was so easy to make a reservation online and there’s a garage right next door that is free for the first 3 hours!

A fun place given the bookstore, but it also meant the noise and crowd (at least the day we went) was a bit much, at least until we were seated. The servers were very friendly and accommodating, so we enjoyed our time. Personally, I had the corned beef hash, which was very good with al dente veggies and a fair amount of corned beef - I would order it again. My friend ended up getting the stuffed french toast, which looked...overwhelming, in a good way, and the bite I had was fantastic. Definitely a choice when you don't have anything to do for a few hours after.
