Our server was very attentive, the food was very good and as a special treat, we were seated in an area that was relatively quiet. We could not have asked for anything more.

I did not have high expectations and was so surprised by the entire experience. The pasta was NOT overcooked. The sauce was so tasty. The menu was extensive. And the service first rate. I loved not being rushed and that old world feel in a very tasteful and refined environment. Please don’t wear tshirts here!

We had an extraordinarily good meal at 80 Thoreau. Even better than the one we had about 2 months ago. My wife started with an "How about them apples" cocktail, and I had a pale ale, then she had beet salad while I got duck mousse [I don't understand why they don't call it pate] which was about out of this world. Then she had paccheri pasta, and I had sea bass. We finished up with Chocolate Creameax. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long, long time.

Our server Shannon was great, her assistant/attendant was wonderful & knowledgeable also. Shannon paid very close attention to my allergies and was responsive to my questions with confident answers. Both courses of food tasted great, great wine selection, and wonderful decor. Its like an old mill building with the comforts & warmth of home! Enjoy
