The Hartwood Restaurant enjoys a rich history. The originally the headquarters of the Harmar Coal Company. Purchased in 1988, the building was transformed into retail space, including antiques and a bookstore. Café tables were soon added amongst the book shelves, Over the years, The Hartwood Restaurant has evolved into a charming and unique place for meals, drinks, and events. The elegant dining rooms and a pub featuring hand-tooled woodwork and stained glass artwork.
The Hartwood also features outdoor dining in a garden-like atmosphere, complete with a wood burning fireplace. Whisper’s Pub features an eclectic wine list from around the world with more than a dozen different wines by the glass, as well as seasonal cocktails, craft beers, and wine flights.

Upon arrival, we checked in and was told we had a 30 minute wait even though we had reservations. Then I conveyed my concern about why having a reservation and was then sat within 3 minutes.

We enjoyed our meal and service. Not sure where the best place to park, but once inside the staff was friendly and helpful. The menu was good. I had the cheesesteak special, the shrimp tacos were very good as well. The ice cream dessert was shared and devoured. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was chill with TV's. I will be back during football/basketball season.

My wife and I ate at Two45 Waterfront Grille last Sunday evening during our first day of an Erie getaway vacation. We were satisfied with the menu and the service was great. Our server Jennifer explained the menu and made great recommendations. The Grouper was excellent. The Bread Pudding dessert was a great shareable end to our dining evening.

Beautiful historic tavern in downtown Harmony PA. Ambiance and atmosphere is a 10. I ordered the Vienna Schnitzel with potato pancake appetizer. Amazing food and very high quality. However, I give the service a 3 out of 10. Young woman working the front desk was extremely overwhelmed and confused between reservations and people walking in waiting for tables. Was openly communicating how stressed she was. Waitress came to our table quickly after we were seated outside but took an extremely long time to get us our drinks and food. I watched her stand at the bar with our drinks in hand for over 10 minutes while she had a casual conversation with another customer. This happened twice. My husband ordered an entree with a side salad and she never brought the salad to our table. She was very nice, but super slow and appeared to be easily distracted by other people's conversations which slowed her down considerably. She would disappear for 20+ minutes at a time and would never see her. Would definitely go back there again but a lot of attention needs to be paid on wait staff not socializing while serving tables which is slowing them down. Also girl at front desk cannot handle that position was extremely overwhelmed and confused. People appeared to be very frustrated with her openly verbailizing her stress.

Be careful they added an automatic 20% gratuity to our bill and we had 4 in our party. The food was delicious the music was very loud but they have lots of speakers so you basically sit right next to a speaker.

The service was top notch and delivered with a smile. It was a quiet night in Pittsburg but the bar was still full. The food was solid across the board. We had the cubano which was good, the Strandad burger which was my favorite and the Low Key burger which was supposed to have pineapple and had very little which would be out only complaint on the food. Also had the Bao buns, truffle fries and fired cheese.
