I visited this lovely restaurant for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, and our waiter was very attentive, providing great recommendations on the dishes. The food was delicious. We started with the crispy shishito peppers and the hearts of romaine, which came with a fantastic lemon-garlic-miso dressing, parmesan crisps, and toasted garlic bread crumbs. I had the crispy skin branzino for the main course, served with grilled lemon, roasted grape tomatoes, capers, oregano, zucchini, roasted fingerling potatoes, and garlic lemon butter. We also tried the Meyer lemon-black pepper gnudi, a delightful combination of English peas, asparagus, grape tomatoes, roasted sweet corn sauce, parmesan, and basil. Overall, a great dining experience!

Our experience was impeccable and exquisite! When I made the reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary. At the table was placed a “Happy Anniversary” card signed by the staff. Our waited, Bob, knew every single detail on the menu. He is a Sommelier and it shows. He gave us great recommendations. Our food was brought out by the chef and co owner, Danny. He was SO personable, caring, genuine and loving. So incredibly welcoming! We felt like we had a private date at the restaurant, it was absolutely flawless. The food is locally sourced from farms and you can taste how clean, fresh and vibrant it is. The desserts were out of this world. 10000% going back!

Phenomenal customer service. I wanted to surprise my daughter and buy her dinner. I am in Tucson; my daughter traveled to California. Sophia made it possible. This was over and above. My daughter enjoyed her birthday meal; Sophia and staff made this an experience to remember. Sophia stayed in contact with me through the experience and, though I could not be there, made me feel as though I was. It is no surprise that you have been around for so long. Difficult today to find a place that still believes in an old school dining experience. Thank you for what you do and continued success in the future.

Monty’s Steakhouse has been proudly family-owned and operated for over 80 years by three
generations of the Levine family.
Monty Levine’s start as a restauranteur came in 1940, while he was working for a wholesale beverage
distributor. When one of the customers on his route—who owned a small bar and burger joint on the
corner of Fair Oaks and California Boulevard, Pasadena—fell severely ill, Monty extended him personal
credit until he recovered. Touched by the generosity of this gesture, the customer offered Monty his
burger bar in settlement of his debts…and the original Monty’s was born.

When you first walk it’s very interesting the decor but I loved it! Chase was our server and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the restaurants history and about the food. He made some amazing recommendations! Thankfully we listened to him about a lot of what he had recommended. The shrimp scampi was phenomenal. The shrimp were huge, so juicy and delicious especially with the shrimp scampi sauce. The fillet was so tender. The brussels sprouts were so crispy and delicious. The crème brûlée was one of the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had in my life!! Thank you to chase for the amazing hospitality and for the amazing food!!

Truly enjoyed this special birthday lunch for my dear friend. Andrew our server was excellent for our large group of ladies, very attentive and informative. We loved the grilled avocado with arugula salad and Naan bread. The extra touches of ice tea ice cubes in our tea was pretty and yummy. Thank you for making a special day even more special

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Davenport's and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the steak and scallops were absolutely delicious. The lobster mash and grilled asparagus were good, though not outstanding. Overall, it was a lovely dinner, and we would highly recommend this restaurant.
