The Captain’s Table is a casual-upscale restaurant located on the Orange Coast College campus in Costa Mesa, California.

Both the kitchen and dining room are run by students from the Culinary Arts and Food and Beverage Management programs, serving a variety of cuisine types from a rotating weekly menu.

We are open for dinner every Thursday at 6:00. Please see our calendar for details regarding upcoming menu themes.

Reservations are required as seating is limited.

The Renegade Room Restaurant is a public restaurant operated by the students enrolled in the Foods and Nutrition Program. The program incorporates lessons in nutrition, cost control, supervision and management, baking, food production, dining room services and food service safety and sanitation.

These skill sets are then applied to hands-on training experiences in both the Kitchen and Dining Room Lab stations. Students are given production menus and schedules to prepare fresh meals, while others see to the Customer Service end of business waiting tables in the Renegade Room.

Café 101 is a teaching and learning café and kitchen operated by Daytona State College culinary students, under the supervision of our chef instructors.

When you step into Café 101, you enter an environment that rivals some of the finest dining establishments in Central Florida. A beautiful atmosphere pairs with the aromas of gourmet delights created by our culinary students. Patrons receive an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and beverage.

Lunch is $14 (including tax)
Vegetarian meals are available by request and must be requested at the time of reservation
Gratuities are welcome and help fund student scholarships
Credit cards are accepted at Café 101
Café 101 is open to the public - seating is limited and reservations are required.
Café 101 is located in the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality and Culinary Management (building 1200) on the Daytona Beach Campus.

The White Horse inn was built in the 17th century as a farmhouse, the architectural details suggest it was built in the early 1600's, maybe as early as circa 1600. There are several examples of stop chamfer moldings on the beams in the downstairs bar and restaurant that are typical of this date. The wide oak floorboards on the first floor and attic also suggests 17th century as does the positioning of the inglenook fireplace. The quality of the timber frame indicates a high status house and unusually thetimbers on the first floor appear of a higher quality than the ground floor.
