we had a wonderful dinner and then stayed for a couple of drinks at the bar afterward. Atmosphere was amazing, staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great service and a ringside seat for a fabulous fireworks display as part of Oglebayfest! The wait staff was terrific, we loved the shrimp and grits, and the outdoor patio was perfect. So far, best restaurant at the Oglebay resort. We’ll be back.

This reservation was for my daughter and 5 others for Homecoming. They are all sophomores in HS and to be honest, one of the hardest age groups to please. The bathroom was "the best, obsessed" to make videos in apparently and the food was "so good I didnt want to stop eating" Their server was so nice and attentive! They all want to go back again to try other food they saw on the menu! thank you for making the evening special

My wife and I booked a reservation at Trace to celebrate my parents 55th anniversary. We’ve been anticipating the opening of the Trace and reviewing the menu online made us even more excited. The maître d', Hector, was wonderful and welcoming. Our table was in front of a fireplace in a dark speakeasy type environment. The music was not too loud. At 7PM, the restaurant was approximately half occupied and the volume level was just fine for us to converse. Our waitress, Felicity was great. Knowledgeable abouttheir appetizers, entrées, and the desserts. Blair was also a stand out with his oyster recommendations and talking about the high quality of the food that is received daily. We had oysters, bone marrow, various side dishes (garlic mashed potatoes, carrots with goat cheese, two servings of the delicious bread), the scallop dinner, and pork chops. Everything was fantastic, including the mango cheesecake for dessert. The cocktails were creative, another table had a cocktail with dry ice I believe. The lavender honey martini was delicious and the bacon Manhattan was spot on, complete with Luxardo cherries. I highly recommend Trace for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience whether you are staying at the Oglebay resort or not. 5 stars, way to go, Oglebay!

First time here and it was an excellent experience! The dishes were perfect: highly recommend the cauliflower bites and beet salad. The burger was also delicious. The service was good and the ambiance very nice. There was live music in the adjoining bar but it want to loud to talk. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality of the food. We will be back next time we are in Elkins!
