Excellent food as always! The ribs and medallions are the absolute best. And the green beans are exquisite. Our waiter, Scott, is always cheerful and he always has a little joke to share. Could not have been better.

Had a great time with a friend, we had an appetizer and then did some work before continuing to have dinner. I got the chili maple old fashioned (yum). Everything was delicious!

We recently visited Earl's restaurant at the Polo Park location after a very long time. My previous experience years ago was underwhelming, but I’m happy to say this visit exceeded all expectations! From the start, the experience was seamless. Booking a table online was incredibly easy and convenient. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The service throughout the evening was excellent – attentive, friendly, and professional. The menu had a great variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. The food itself was delicious, with generous portion sizes that offered great value for the price. Despite the restaurant being busy, the waiting time for our meals was impressively short. Overall, this visit completely changed my perception of Earl's Polo Park. It’s clear they’ve upped their game in every aspect. I’m looking forward to returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

The food was really good. Ribs were super tender and very tasty. Also really enjoyed the Caesar salad and the rice. Very enjoyable meal and the servers were attentive and very personable. Will definitely go back.

The Silver Heights Restaurant opened its doors at 2169 Portage Avenue in June, 1957. Former cabbie Anthony Siwicki Sr. had no idea it would still be going strong today! His operating philosophy was simple: “Provide your guests with quick and friendly service, and to serve fresh, delicious quality food at a reasonable price”…and to keep it that way. The restaurant is now in its third generation going forward.

Silver Heights Restaurant was slowly transformed from a coffee shop into a lounge and dining room and bar. The adjoining hardware store on the East side became the dining room. In 1964 Tony bought out his three partners and his three sons Jim, Dave and Allan have grown the business.

For a family get together for my son’s 14 birthday, it was a good experience. The food was good, came quickly and was good value. The only nuisance was getting to the washrooms from the restaurant, you either go down stairs and around or through an employee kiosk to get to them.
