It is a wonderful dining experience. Great food, great service and most of all great ambience. I know people often want the restaurant to be updated, but it is a bit of a time capsule to an era where dining was a bit more of an experience. It was a great loss when the Cumberland Avenue Copper Cellar Down Under was lost due to progress. We were young and we were there when the first two opened. I hope this one remains as it is, as long as I'm around. If so, I'll keep dining there!

Party of 5 at 6pm. Not very busy when we arrived, but by the time we left it was packed. Service was very good, quick and the place was clean. Most dishes we had were excellent. White rice was bland and cold. Shrimp appetizer was undercooked and flavorless. Salt and pepper prawns were also undercooked and under seasoned. Lo mein was a bit off, I’m guessing it was the sauce. Overall pretty decent, but a bit disappointing.

I know we are having a heat wave, and with the big glass windows it’s hard to cool, but it was in the mid 80s inside and I was sleeveless. Still hot… The food was, always delicious, except for the salty seafood platter. The oysters on the half shell with the best part of the meal, says the boyfriend. Our server, Chris, was a delight. You can always count on Chesapeake’s to have quality servers! I would love a new margarita recipe without orange juice, too. Fingers crossed. See you soon, Chesapeake’s!

I made reservations for a business dinner with a client in Knoxville. I want to say I couldn't be more impressed with the management, to the wait staff, to the food! The mgr. called me ahead of time to understand the occasion & confirm the reservations. He met me @ the door w/ a firm handshake & nice smile, welcoming myself & my business customer. He proceeded to check us on 2-3 times throughout the evening. The waitress was knowledgeable, polite & aware of conversations at the table - to not interrupt. She was spot on & I couldn't have asked for better service. Everyone - all 10 of us ordered something different & everyone was talking about how good their food was, along w/ the few drinks from the bar. I'll be back again!

Best I can tell Mimi’s uses open table as a waitlist App rather than serving as a true reservation. Arrived at my reservation time only to be told there would be a 20 minute wait. Walk-ins and reservations were just placed on the same check in list and were called for seating in order of arrival - reservation or not.

Our short three day visit to knoxville tn FIREFLY Great! Breakfast was excellent Sweet cream pancakes the best ever. Lunch brisket burgers with sweet fries , Club sandwich Firefly was the best food ever had while traveling. My family enjoyed the food and service thank you for a great experience.
