Very nice place. Food was excellent. Service was prompt and attentive. I think the food was a little pricey, but that’s typical of everywhere now. The setting in the woods in Amish country is unique and enjoyable.

This was my second time here and overall this place is a phenomenal addition to the Chagrin Falls food scene. The service, food and overall vibe of the establishment is well executed and I’d highly recommend folks make it a new place to visit. I only took off one star because during both visits I’ve had glasses of wine, and for the $12-18 price points, they are the tiniest pours I’ve ever seen. I had a $15 chardonnay and I’m not confident it was even close to 6oz. We were having fun and our server was so good I didn’t want to say anything, but my only suggestion is to revisit these portions to get that 5th star. Thanks and I’ll be back soon, but prob not ordering wine.

Our server was fantastic- he was so attentive and explained the specials in such a detailed way that made us want everything. The food was amazing as always! Brix is a fave spot for our group! Never had a bad meal here

It was nice when the waitress told us the special a filet and scampi I was delighted and ordered it. When it came to the table it was a filet and scallops. I can’t eat scallops, a while ago I had an allergic reaction to them. She took my plate and when she brought it back it was just the filet no scampi. The filet was delicious but I was wanting those scampi!

Taste has a great selection for all diets. I had the delicious vegan plate du jour, my husband had the four cheese lasagna and brussel sprouts, our friend had the lasagna with sausage, and his wife the chorizo mac-n-cheese. Dessert was refreshing (sorbet trio) and creamy (vanilla crème brûlée). The server was attentive and personable, and we enjoyed the live piano music.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner on a Tuesday evening with relatives visiting from OR. We wanted to pick a restaurant that had a good view of Cleveland as the night lights were turning on. Mission accomplished! And to have great food to boot, made us feel so good about bringing them to Summer Place.

We found dining at the Homestead to be a pleasant experience. We sampled the brussels sprouts and shrimp dip from the appetizer menu. They were delicious, and the servings were plentiful. From the brunch menu we tried different sandwiches, which also were very good. We were very impressed by the farm-to-table practice of the restaurant. Our server was efficient and personable. We definitely will return, next time for dinner.
