Quiessence is a fine dining, true farm to table restaurant located at The Farm at South Mountain, a 10 acre oasis by South Mountain. We have a 2 acre organic garden onsite that we utilize as much as possible for our dishes. Our menu changes regularly based on local and seasonal availability. We offer tasting menus with the option of doing 3, 4 or 5 courses. The restaurant itself is housed in the original farmhouse of the property giving the restaurant plenty of rustic charm. Patio dining is also highly sought after when the weather is nice.

The waitress was very nice, allowed us to take our time in ordering. She gave some great recommendations. We got the salmon and the mole enchiladas. Both were very delicious and good portion sizes. We also got dessert and I didn’t know this but they have their own pastry chef on site, so none of that premade stuff. We got a trifle that had blueberries, a custard and a very dense cake all layered. We ended the dinner with a walk around the botanical garden.

Had a lovely new years brunch with a party of 6. Coffee tasted like my dad used to make it, which brought back good memories. Pancakes were super soft and the orange mimosa was very good. The servers were responsive and friendly!

My third time here at the Tavern love this little neighborhood spot. Great food and every time I go I try something different, never been disappointed. Great food good atmosphere and even better cocktails. Enjoy we always do!!

The new Sunday breakfast menu has some delicious food. The apple pie French toast and the Hot Mess were yummy. Our server, Theresa was wonderful! And you can’t beat the prices!
