Mr. Baan’s Bar and Mookata is a place to gather and share unique cocktails, wine, and spirits while feasting on charcoal grilled Thai barbecue.

Mookata translates is “cook it yourself” barbecuing experience. It consists of a domed grill surrounded by a moat of broth, which is enriched by the drippings of the meat. A mookata set comes with various marinated meats, vegetables, eggs, and dippings sauces. Come enjoy Mookata on Mr. Baan's patio which has misters when it's hot or heaters when it's col.

Mr. Baan's is run by Yotaka and Alex Martin.

I’ve had celiac my entire life, and it was by far the best gluten free pizza crust I’ve ever had! It’s such a cute place, with delicious food and good service.

Tried several dishes, cinnamon roll was great- the breakfast burrito not so much. Potatoes were undercooked and the chorizo was not flavorful. Would not get that again. Breakfast sandwich was alright nothing outstanding. Waitress was wonderful, very attentive kept up with refills etc. location is neat, doesn’t look like they ever get crazily busy so that was nice, restaurant is very cute and the outdoor area is lovely, with misters go summer weather. I do wish the food was better overall, may go back and just have the fam do cinnamon rolls all around honestly Ha!!

2nd time in. Great menu selection. The Mexican corn appetizer is fantastic. The frozen margaritas were superb. Our server Mya could not have been more charming, helpful and attentive. We will be back soon.

The taco selection is awesome here, and they have plenty of other food options. The tableside-made guacamole is really good, they put pomegranate on top, so you can have it sweet if you like, or push off to the side. Service was slow at first, but the server was excellent, and everything was hot and right the first time. Definitely be back.
