I had the baked oysters and a salad. Two glasses of sparkling rose. $50. The food and wine was delicious. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. It's expensive but so is everything else these days. I'll go back.

A fun, energetic tribute to American Southern cuisine. Our dining room is bustling with high-energy just like our great Magic City. Our menus focus on local distilleries and local farms throughout Alabama; the menu is ever changing with only the freshest products on hand. Our dishes are whimsical yet elegant with a feeling of comfort to them.
Roots & Revelry departs from the norm by modernizing fine dining. It’s haute with casual undertones, southern with international influences.

Our Patio is not covered. Patio is weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate you inside but can not guarantee a table.

Reservations preferred, walk-ins accepted based on availability.

We are allotting 1 1/2 hours for parties of two, 2 hours for parties of four, 2 1/2 hours for parties six or more. Please call us at 205-730-1907 or email robert@roots-revelry.com for any parties over 8 guests.

The experience was overall positive. The hostess was also the waitress. When it did get busy, they were having to multitask. However was aware of the wait and made a point to apologize. We accepted and understood. Chef delivered food and stated they were short staffed at the time. Food was great and the dessert( bread pudding) was the best i ever had 👍🏾

Douglas was great. We were thankful for the early time although when we made the reservations, I was not thrilled to eat at 10 am. However, with 2 under 5 it was a perfect time. Food was delicious! Will always be my go to for Holidays. Thankful for the resturant and employees being at work today!
