Mikey's Grill is owned and operated by Michael (affectionately known as "Mikey") and his sister, Melissa Lee. They have over thirty years of combined restaurant experience. Mikey has only the freshest seafood delivered multiple times a week, he cuts all steaks in house and even makes all of the his own sauces and bread. Mikey's is truly a family affair; with Mikey whipping up amazing creations with a Cajun flare in the kitchen, Melissa, selecting the wine and running the front and even their Mom, Donna, pitches in baking her delectable homemade desserts!

Mikey’s grill was one of our favorite places to eat in Hoover. Great service and Food was always good (wonderful steak’s especially). We are sad it has ClLOSED. We will miss you all!!

A fun, energetic tribute to American Southern cuisine. Our dining room is bustling with high-energy just like our great Magic City. Our menus focus on local distilleries and local farms throughout Alabama; the menu is ever changing with only the freshest products on hand. Our dishes are whimsical yet elegant with a feeling of comfort to them.
Roots & Revelry departs from the norm by modernizing fine dining. It’s haute with casual undertones, southern with international influences.

Our Patio is not covered. Patio is weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate you inside but can not guarantee a table.

Reservations preferred, walk-ins accepted based on availability.

Second time my friends and I have been here for brunch and it has been great both times. Chicken and Waffles were delicious as was the West Indies Salad Avocado Toast. Beautiful decor and very friendly service!

This visit was for my 9-year old daughter for her girlfriend b-day party. From walking in the order front of house staff was very friendly and conversational. The server was on his A-game as well. We ordered beef hot rock which didn't disappoint, followed by a sushi boat for everyone to share. Great experience.

There is not a bad thing on the menu! Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks! She also made sure we knew about the rewards program! Will go back for all big celebrations!
