The food and service were amazing. You definitely get what you pay for. We really enjoyed the scallop appetizer, chicken karaage appetizer, filet, and Noja potatoes. The brussel sprouts were wonderful as well. The flourless chocolate torte for dessert was divine.

Such a wonderful dinner. I had the price fixed Italian meal. The gnocchi was divine. The service was on point and the dessert was divine! Espresso coffee poured into the center of fresh ice cream that was in a glass coated with delicious and creamy, cool chocolate, coated with nuts. I’m going to dream about it.

From the greeting by the hostess and being seated at the bar and then being served by Becca with great drinks and great food, it was a really good experience! The restaurant is located in the Old Armory building on the corner of Hwy 59, and Section Street. The Old Armory has been brought back to life with her architectural elements in place and her history forever and fondly remembered by the community. Local and Company is locally owned and operated and was designed with the local community at the forefront. Open now for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday!

Very nice restaurant, elegant, the wait staff is not only knowledgeable but non-invasive. They would wait for a pause in our conversation to ask a question. The food is outstanding, the steaks are tender, and the sides are large enough to share or take part of it home. We had the bread pudding for dessert which was amazing, we brought home the Chocolate Sin which we have yet to try. Our order- filet with Bleu cheese crumble, petit filet, garlic mash, candied sweet potatoes, shoestring fries, Blackberry Sidecars to drink, and the bread pudding and Chocolate Sin desserts. Very reasonable $300, you can't fault the quality of food, it was well worth the price.

Food was absolutely delicious, especially nice since there is no really authentic Italian food in all of Mobile, in my opinion. The only negatives were very minor: it was very cold inside for the first half of our visit, even with long pants and a jacket on, we were shivering. Our waitress was fairly unattentive, though the owners picked up the slack with water and food/bread deliveries when she was nowhere to be seen.....(maybe she had too many tables, but she seemed much less interested in explaining the lovely menu than the owners probably expected her to.) We had the lemon chicken, the spinach ravioli with shrimp, and lasagna, as well as cocktails. Surprisingly, the lemon chicken was the star....other two were very good also. We will definitely be back soon to try other yummy menu options. Bathroom was large and clean...extra positive!
