Violet was a great waitress. The food was all so delicious. Prob my favorite meal I’ve had there yet… I had the fish (salmon). Husband was so pleased w the pollo farfalle and the Della casa salad was exceptional!

The restaurant was amazing. From the appetizer to the main course, it was exceptional. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name because he was incredible. His suggestions were outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Come enjoy a delicious meal right off the wood fire grill! We are located right in the heart of the historic Fayetteville square, and welcome you to join us for an incredible meal in an inviting, lively atmosphere. Our kitchen uses only select mesquite wood to insure every item has just the right amount of smoky flavor. For a grilled lunch or dinner, we offer classic steaks from ribeye to filet mignon as well as a few outside of the box items like lamb chop lollipops and jalapeño-stuffed quail breast. We also have sandwiches, salads, soups, and house-made desserts.

About the Building

Built in 1911, this historic building began its important role in the Fayetteville community as the city Post Office. In 1974 it was saved from demolition by a citizen-led petition, and gained National Historic status. We are honored to continue the tradition of bringing people together and celebrating the citys history in the beautiful Old Post Office.

Owned by a trio of talented chefs, the menus at Prima Italia were developed to offer patrons authentic, contemporary Italian cuisine. The highest quality raw ingredients, such as eggs from Happy Egg based in Rogers, AR, who also supply Michelin starred restaurants in New York and Los Angeles, are used to create fresh pasta daily. The pasta is made using equipment by Imperia & Monfeṙṙina imported directly from Asti, Italy. Breads are sourced locally from Harvest Moon Bakery.

Prima Italia!!! Very Good!! Vincent was a fantastic waiter! We read reviews of Prima Italia and Vincent has received rave reviews- we are so glad we had him for our waiter as he really is exceptional !!! From the moment he told us his name to the end of our meal he was attentive, courteous and treated us as if we were the only two in the room - which we weren’t he had several tables inside and even outside - wish we lived closer- the food was so very good - thank you chefs! The crab cake pepin . Wedge salad - eggplant parmigiana - lobster ravioli - and cheesecake were all top notch! Thank you also to Mike the manager who came over to see how we were doing - thank you Vincent for making our experience with Prima Italia one we will never forget - YOU are the best!!

Beautiful little part of downtown Bentonville away from the hustle and bustle of the square - amazing food - appetizers - entrees and dessert - wonderful wine and cocktail menu as well - even the coffee is wonderful - staff is incredible - we ate outside and it was a perfect evening!

The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I was a bit cold most of the time but that is usually the case for me year round. Salad bar and sides were excellent. All the meats were great except the BBQ ribs were tough and I barely got a few bites off them but the other meats were incredible. Great service! All around a great experience!
